Suncourt is Lake Taupo"s premier 4 star Qualmark rated hotel on the edge of Taupo"s CBD offering stunning views of Lake Taupo and the volcanoes of the world heritage Tongariro National Park. A leisurely stroll along the lakeside walkway takes our guests to the town centre for world class shopping, cafes and nightlife. All this in less than five minutes.
Suncourt Hotel has 52 rooms including 1 and 2 bedroom units. All rooms come standard with tea/coffee making facilities, ensuite with shower, Sky Digital TV and 17 units have kitchen facilities. We have a room type to suit everyone.
Over the autumn and winter months of 2008 Suncourt is embarking on an upgrade of its two main accommodation blocks. New room decor and furnishings, a change in some room configurations to allow more space for extra guests and a few more comforts for those discerning customers. Adding to this also the main entrance to Suncourt off Northcroft street is also being upgraded. A more welcoming entrance to the Hotel and additional work to the casual dining deck area of Chill On Northcroft will make for a new look Suncourt.
Suncourt"s on-site restaurant Chill On Northcroft is open daily for breakfasts and superb a-la-carte dining from 4pm. There is nothing better to unwind with your favourite tipple and enjoy the entertainment on the large screen TV, fireside dining or just a casual pre dinner drink with friends and fellow diners. During those warmer months enjoy open air dining on the front deck. Superb views and superb dining.
Suncourts amenities include guest laundries, swimming pool and out door heated spa, a safe playground for the kids, pool side BBQ area for groups and ample off-street parking.
