we stayed at the sunmaris park for 2 weeks excellent time weather really good. One problem stay away from photographer he will rip you off. All other staff at hotel excellent. Would stay there again

we have just recently returned from a weeks hols at the sun maris park hotel, an overall we cant complain. the first day was a bit of a joke, when arriving at the hotel were told our rooms were not ready (this was at 5 in the morning), we were placed in a hotel around the corner, and then moved to another hotel to eat. when we were settled though, the holiday overall was ok. food/beer/rooms/pool were all fine for what we needed. as for the staff, Jan, Salhi, and Aussie were brilliant, really made the holiday worthwhile. and if you need any pictures taking, talk to the man Aussie, GENIUS!!

ok so i stayed here a while ago and i absolutely hated it most of my money went on the mccdonalds across the road cause the food was atrocious they seemed to only cater for the germans the fish had eyes you had to pay for entertainment and could only get local drinks on the all inclusive rooms were nice had a leak through the ceiling from the above room staff were creeps around me and my friend i will never attend again and i wouldnt advise anyone else to either

I have just recently come back from the sun maris hotel with my mum, brother, sister and boyfriend and it was one of the worst all inclusive hotels I have ever been to. We went under the impression it was a 4* star hotel and when we got there learned it was a 3*. The food was awful apart from the odd lunch or tea where they had a half decent soup on, most of my spending money went on eating out. We weren't given a wristband or a card so anyone could have come in off the street and got drinks and food there, because there was no wristbands or cards they didn't know who was an adult and who wasn't, so my brother who is 15 was getting served alcohol at the bar. The bar closed at 11pm and then they ushered you round the corner to the bar where you have to pay to wait for the "entertainment". The "entertainment" was supposed to start at 11pm started at around 11:30pm and finished at 11:45pm mostly and the "entertainment" was exactly the same thing every night, a few turkish breakdancers who just changed clothes every night and a few awful Michael Jackson dancers. Getting a sunbed was ridiculous we were getting up at 6 o'clock just to get one. The pool I didn't see it get the water cleaned once my sister got an ear infection in both ears so did a few other children around the pool and myself and a few other women we met got a water infection from it. Our room (mine and my boyfriends) was a good size but the curtains were white so first thing in the morning we were blinded by the sun, our air conditioning was a joke, every 10 minutes it turned off so sleep was impossible, we informed reception numerous times and still they did nothing. The fridge in our room was not even slightly cold even after reception told us they fixed it it still didn't work. Our room was tidied everyday we got clean towels like every 3 days which I would have preferred every other day, we were there for 11 days and our bed sheets weren't changed once. Standing and looking off of our balcony over at the other hotel only added to our disappointment, they had proper entertainment and decent music every day and night they had a proper stage and lights.

we just returned from a holiday at this hotel. Its no 5* service but saying that if you want 5* then pay for it. We had a lovely holiday, me my hubby and my 10 month old baby. Granted we had a few teething problems initially but staff were friendly enough. The pool wasnt that big but then again neither were other pools in hotels around that area. it was clean, but cold so we didnt go in. the rooms were cleaned daily (although we preferred cleaning it ourselves) Common sense tells you not to leave valuables out ! Yes for an all inclusive there wasnt a great deal of choice for drinks, but it was fine, its not like we stayed in the hotel all the time, we were out doing excursions as most people will be. Granted there was a lot of chicken chicken and more chicken, the food wasnt amazing, but once again for the price it wasnt bad. I had a lovely holiday, i booked the hotel and then read reviews and was a bit apprehensive, but i went with an open mind and we had a lovely holiday, so take each review with a pinch of salt and just go enjoy.

ok...now i'm not a stuck up person at all(bear that in mind) this hotel was awful, everyone in the hotel had same opinion....THEY ALL WANTED HOME.. I was their for 2 weeks and it was hell i had to get money sent via money gran as mine was stolen(reception said not their problem 'It's your money not our worry') staff always asking for a loan of money and rooms were cleaned daily ie floor mopped bed made...not changed though!!! air conditioning never worked in the 3 rooms we were tossed and turned from!!!! Owner of hotel bringing 2 girls home each evening and playing loud music all night...not family friendly!!! stray cats wondering about hotel grounds.... pool smaller than a backdoor paddeling pool!!! male staff fell out with my friend and i as we went out every night and did not stay keep them company!!! the place is a joke and the other staff are treated terrible!!!their was a poo on our bathroom floor the first night we walked in that looked like a mouse poo's!!!! i would never go back if i was paid!!! and one more thing i am by far not a fussy eater but i never ate one night in hotel as the same leftovers were visible on a different table for a week the just changed the lay out!! sun maris park was my holiday from hell a hostel would have been cozier!!!!

I enjoyed my stay at Sun Maris park the staff were lovely. There was always something you could eat at meal times the salad table was very good also a good range of sweets which my husband and friends enjoyed. We did have a lot of chicken which was very well cooked. (and I like chicken) If you expect English food then you will be disappointed. If you wanted burger and chips after lunch and before dinner you had to pay for it. There was not much for children to do and no entertainment in the evening. When the free bar stopped 11pm you could go into the garden bar where some entertainment was laid on and the cost of drinks was the same price as the bars by the beach. This Hotel suited me my husband and friends that came with us, the rooms are basic but very clean and we are booking it again next year.
