Although Summertree Village is just a minute walk to the great Atlantic Ocean, the complex has a covered, heated pool where you can swim all year-round a nice refuge from the hot sun or the occasional Myrtle Beach sprinkle. Swim in the large outdoor pool or bask in the hot tub. Enjoy fine dining or visit the incredible outlet store complex just a few minutes away. Make sure to call ahead to get keys, at a shopping center a few blocks up the street. Easy to find... 5 minutes walk from the beach, 2 nice pools (1 indoor), wooded, shady areas next to pool if you don't want to sunbathe. Bring your own soap, beach towels. This is NOT a hotel. It is a condo that you rent from a private owner. Linens, cookware provided. We had large rooms, with washer/dryer, full kitchen, 2 full baths, 3 screened porches, flat screen tv with dvd player. We would definately go back. Our children stayed at another condo on the beach, but they spent most of the time at our place for the amenities!! Very clean, and felt safe. Off the beaten path, but very near to everything!

We were only there a few days but the room was large enough to accomodate everyone. There was one set of steps that was blocked off due to the fact they were broken, but our room was closer to another set. The pool was small but there were not many people there so it didn't matter. It's about a 10 minute walk to the beach . Beach was great. They had vendors selling italian ice. Except for traffic it was a quick drive to any shopping or other activites. I would definately go again.

my trip started off very bad. Map Quest said 16 hours and 11 min. By the time i got to the condo, 17 1/2 hours later... i was at the condo... little did i know the condo didn't have an office. How do my family and i get in then. A man was loading his car to leave... so I asked him where the office was.. There isn't one. By know i'm fit to be tied. I had to drive another 30 minutes to pick up keys... Why wasn't i told this before my trip??? The condo was nice...the five flights of stairs about killed me. The walk to the beach was about five minutes. The best part of the trip was it was quiet.. kids had a blast in the green pool. Staff said it wasn't swimming season. Who really cares...we paid good money.. remember to return the keys 30 minutes the other way when leaving.
