We have stayed at Old town for 6 yrs 3-4 times a year. We haven't had problems in the past. I was here in March 2009 .This time however was a different story . TV was out from thursday till we left tuesday . We had a 5yr old with us. They keep promising it was going to get fixed.The housekeeping associates forgot to leave towells wash clothes and coffee and toilet tissue and did not pick up the room not even wipe down a counter. I was very upset, everyday to the main office for supplies.This happened from the time we checked in until we left. I personally spoke with housekeeping and explained to them what we needed and left them notes.The 2nd day we locked out of our room ,standing in the pouring rain.The front desk kept saying that a new owner brought the place and they are undergoing changes ,renovation.I think that they better keep in mind the customer , because that is the person who will make the difference in the success of their busines . Then I went to check out and it was an additional fee of $4.50 per day ...I wanted to see the manager in charge and he told me that it is a resort fee and if I would of gone directly threw their reservation center I would on known this. No one told me about this when I checked in. They said I was paid in full.This fee started in March after I was there.I always stayed here but when I go down there in 4mos I am going to look into a different hotel. One thing there are redoing some of the buildings, but then you are going to need customers to book those rooms and they need to concentrate on better service. I was very disappointed.

Location - great. Overall appearance, looks like it needs attention. Hotel area looks a little neglected. Green areas need some attention. Rooms are great for families. Maid service poor. Lack of complimentary coffee, creamer etc. for first thing in the morning. Hotel did not have items on hand for purchase.

Upon arrival at the suites at old town,It looked like a nice big facility,they boasted on their 3 swimming pools,game room and location! At check in we had to wait 45 min before they could find us a room,and another 20 minutes when I explained that I couldn't do the stairs.The lady at the front desk would have definitely been somewhere else if possible.After the hour of waiting we finally get a room ,the room is in the very back building 2 parking lots away.I get to the room to find the beds unmade ,towels on the floor and food on the table.Someone had defecated and not flushed and the whole room reeked!So I go to the phone in the room and it was not working,so I had to use my cell phone to call the front desk.They said the switch me rooms and would have someone bring my keys to me...20 more minutes later, they get me the keys to a NASTY , mildew smelling room! The tv didn't get all its channels because they didn't pay or something like that,The phone in this room didn't work either.There was dog feces under the sink area in the master BR, The sheets were"sticky" and I ran to the front desk and promptly got my money back!The front desk lady is now gone and the poor man named Wendell gave me my money back as he could see I was almost in tears over the whole ordeal! I am going to call the better business bureau and the Orlando area chamber of commerce as this place is just to nasty for them to be standing behind!

Great locale for ride seekers and families with kids. stayed over holiday week and enjiyed being next door to the rides. if was busy but the grounds were clean and employees were friendly and nice. rooms were ok and were clean and sheets were clean too. sliding door was slightly hard to open but it did open with some help. pool was clean and heated. this is NOT the Double Tree or Westgate so if that is what u want then go there, but this place is a good value for families on a budget and down to earth people. room was huge, it had a full kitchen and fridge and a bed that was in the wall and a small bathroom. our room was poolside and it was nice. the building was well kept for its age and it was clean. this place is close to Disney World and 192 or I-4. i will be bringing my family back here next year and unless we get a better deal at Disney World Resort we will be staying here. Checkers was a two minute walk to the hotel too.

When I arrived & checked in my 2nd room was not ready. Was told to come back to get key for room later. when I went back they said that there was something wrong with room 2 so they had to move to another room after we had unloaded 2 cars(including 4 young kids. Got everything togethere and movied. 2nd night(and everynight after) there were motorcycles & car shows right by are rooms that when on until 3 in the morning(this was done in the back of the hotel parking lot)they played music & racing up & down the road all night.Call front desk and was told that they can not do anything about it for it is a car show put on by the hotel. We then went to Disney the next day and got back to rooms that the AC was turned off. Hot rooms,tried & hot kids not a good thing. Called front desk was told to call in the morning before leaven to tell them not to turn AC off at time of room cleaning. Even if you are renting the room for 4 days. 3rd night there was more drunks then you could find in a bar. This Hotel is not a good place to go if you do not drunk or if you have young kids with you. You and the kids will not get any sleep. I will never return to this hotel even if it is under new ownership.

Clean. The kitchen facilities were pretty good. Front desk not responsive to maintenance request. We arrived in room, the A/C was turned off, and the room was very hot. The room had twoAC units that were positioned at opposite ends of the room. Turned them on, and theAC unit in the bedroom kept cutting off. This left the living area cool, and the bedrooms very hot. Contacted front desk on two occasions, but they did nothing. On the morning of checkout, the power went off for an hour.

The hotel suite was large and spacious and contained a bed in a wall in the living room which was a plus. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We extended our stay an extra 2 days because we enjoyed the location so much. This place is in the middle of Old Towne Amusement Park and reminded us of an old style Atlantic Coast Seaside Resort Boardwalk. Pefect place for familes as we brought 3 kids with us and had plenty of room. It is in the heart of an amusement park and it does get quiet but not until after the park closes, but if you are there for the rides and shops, it is a perfect locale. We did the Disney thing 2 days and it was only a 9 minute drive to the parking lot to Magic Kingdom. No free breakfast is the only disappointment but Ponderosa is close by and breakfast is 4.00 and THANKFULLY it is NOT pet friendly so no barking hear! Parking was close to the rooms and the pool was clean and heated. We were there on Thanksgiving week and it was busy but no problems. We will be back next year and unless we hit the lotto we will be staying here again. This is no Ritz Carlton but it is a great value for the money and it was actually cheaper than the Ramada and had double the room and a real kitchen. Booking it via travel website saved me about 20.00 a night off the regular room rate a night and it was seemless and smooth. Outside of a True Disney Resort this is a good deal for the money.

This hotel was ABSOLUTELY the WORST hotel I have EVER stayed in...The room was FILTHY !!! Informed hotel staff of PUBIC HAIR (body fluid stain marks,as if it had been slept in and linens not changed) in the bed, bathroom, and even on the "stove top"... they did send housekeeping up to change the bed sheets but the "new sheets" were just as bad as the ones they removed. Along with removing the NASTY sheets, they stole my hooded jacket. I ended up going to Wal-mart and buying my own set of sheets and a drop cloth to put on the bed so I could at least feel some what safe about sleeping on the bed at the hotel. After informing hotel staff about filthy condition of the room, they moved me to another FILTHY room... which they re-assured me, it should be satisfactory as they had checked it out prior to putting me in it. When I walked in, I went to place a bag on the table (which had NOT been wiped off) but it had a HUGE sticky spot in the middle of the table !!! The hotel staff informed me that because I had booked my room through ORBITZ, the hotel could not and would not compensate me in any way due to them being locked into a contract with ORBITZ because of my booking through ORBITZ. The other frustrating part of this whole ordeal is, you get the pizza scam artists who shove their flyers through your door that have fake phone numbers on them and when you call they insist on you giving them your credit card number. You DO NOT get your pizza but will end up with charges on your credit card for things YOU DID NOT purchase. The hotel staff is very much aware of this scam and do NOTHING to keep these scam artists OFF the property. I am appalled at the conditions of this hotel and am glad I did not bring my children to this filthy establishment! Was also frustrated to find out that anyone can just walk up to the front desk and get a room at approximately half the cost of what you can book it for through ORBITZ. Will return to Orland/Kissimmee area again but will NOT ever stay

Near my business destination. Bedbugs. At night, sounded like someone was knocking down door(s), very noisy people outside, people just hanging out nearby, smoking something.

I stayed at the Suites back in August of 2008. I'm 22 and I went with my boyfriend. For the price the room was ok, not spectacular. It was clean, and everything in the room worked. It kind of reminds you of staying at a Red Rood Inn.The staff was friendly. They answered all of our questions, and gave us tips of where to eat and shop. Speaking of--- the location of this place is GREAT. Its about 20 minutes away from everything (Disney, Universal, Airport). Within about a 5 to 10 minute walk are all kinds of restaurants: Ponderosa, Checkers, Sizzler, iHop, etc) . Not to mention they year round carnival down the street Old Town. It was pretty cool. There's gift shops and flea markets RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET!!! So I got all of my souvenirs on the cheap. If you stay at the hotel, there's a free shuttle bus that will take you to DIsney and Universal for free, but only during scheduled times. Like I said the room itself was just "ok", but everything else made it more than worth it.

Loved being so close to Old Town fun place and good dining options there. Hotel is not the greatest looking from the outside but the inside is not bad. Not a 4 star hotel but for the price you can't beat it. The only problem I had was the beds are terrible not very comfortable at all!!!

Area was perfect! Very clean and roomy! Felt like a home away from home! Room needed minor repairs that were fixed immediately. Extra blankets/pillows/towels were not provided. Excellent place to stay if you have more than 3 kids. Plenty enough room for the family. People around here was extremely nice and kind to the kids. At night this place really is sparks up with a older amusement park atmosphere around the hotel area. Very nice place to stay!

When we first checked in I was thinking we were getting what we paid for - 3 rooms and a bathroom seemed like a very decent buy. But then the amusement park next door kept pumping out the music until 12:15 am, the power went out (no kidding) 5 times and along with it the phone and cable and someones car alarm went off. One of the two a/c units also didn't work overnight (it kicked back in at 7 in the morning). When the desk was called via our cell phone (remember the phones were out), the desk person said the property owners had been notified but the manager would not be in until the morning. I guess if you were going to be out past midnight you might never know the difference but being as we were beat from a day of park hopping it was one of the worst stays we have ever had. Actually it was so bad I took the time to log on and write this review before we checked out.

The suites are roomy but rundown. We couldn't use the pool because other guests had taken it over for a private party. I feel the staff should have stepped in so everyone could have used the pool. Basically, with this hotel you get what you pay for--it is a good rate for a suite, but personal care toward the cleanliness and upkeep would be a great factor.

Room was clean, great kitchen, great price. This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. Both times the rooms were clean and beds are comfortable. It has a refrigerator, coffee pot, stove and microwave - this makes traveling in a budget easy. We were able to bring groceries and snacks for the kids. There was plenty of room for 3 adults and 2 kids. There was a murphy bed in one room and two double beds in another. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is the worst hotel i have ever seen!!!!!! We walked into the room and checked right out and found a different hotel to stay in! EVERYTHING in the room was old and out dated and VERY dirty.Bed sheets looked dirty,smelled moldey and smokey. A bathroom on a street are cleaner then this one. PLEASE do your self a favor DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!!!!!

The Suites at Old Town was a perfect choice for us. The three room suite was spacious and allowed myself, my teenage daughter, and her best friend to have plenty of room to spread out and relax after a long day. The location next to Old Town was only a short drive to Disney World. The hotel was older, but was very clean. The staff was polite and very accommodating. Overall this was a good place to stay for the value.

We were all able to stay together. It was not very clean. I would not stay there again. The first room had mold and mildew everywhere. The next one was a little better, but was still not very clean. The noise from the fair kept us awake till early morning!

As the saying goes you get what you pay for. When we arrived Sunday night they had booked me for a nonsmoking room when I called down there a month before my trip and asked them to put me in a smoking suite. They assured me it was all set. They did have a smoking suite available which ended up being poolside so they gave me that room for no extra charge. Only thing was you could not open the sliding doors from the room to get to the pool! The rooms are very old and when you first walk in there is a very funny smell to the room. The bed was very comfortable. The reason I booked this room was because of the kitchenette. Well, bring your own stuff cuz you have to rent all the utensils per day. We went to Wamart and bought styrofoam bowls and plastic silverware. The refridgeratior door handle was falling off. Don't know what the maids do either. Our beds were made every day and clean towels were put out but thats about all they did. There is a coffee maker but thats it! No sponges to wipe down spills. The floor in the kitchen was filthy and some of the wallpaper was peeling off the walls. Being next to Old Town was nice but if you want to go to bed early you will hear the noise from there until they close. The pool was very clean. I would not stay there again for cleanliness reasons and for the fact at other suite hotels they will give you utensils to use in the kitchen. They also charge you $13.95 at checkout for the telephone (which we did not use) and the safe.

the suites at old town was more than I could of ask for. the rooms were very clean & and very spacious. beds were very comfertiful. kitchen was agood size for a family. the staff was fery freindly & helpfull. I WOULD RECIMEND THIS HOTEL TO EVRY ONE. THIS STAY MADE FOR A GREAT VACATION FOR ME & MY FAMILY
