This hotel is located in very good area of shops, restuarants and centrally located. The check in was long but check out was fast. There was a problem in the bathroom that was resloved. The space in units are nicely divived from living to sleeping by a small kitchen area. The rear units offer a queiter nights sleep.Would stay here again.

I spent a very pleasant week at this hotel. The Suite was very comfortable and very quiet. The bed was great and the 3 TV's and 3 phones were just great. I had friends that also were there part of my stay and we all enjoyed the hotel. The staff was very kind and helpful throughout my stay. The breakfast buffet was great and very affordable. I look forward to another visit to Suites Del Angel. It would have been helpful to be able to check email.

Enjoyed a nice stay in Suites Del Angel for a family vacation. Location is nice - on a quiet street, felt quite safe, with easy access to restaurants and Metro (best deal to get around at 20 cents a ride anywhere). Easy 15 min walk to Bosque Chapultepec. If you can't handle a 10 minute walk to the subway, then you should stay on the other side of Paseo Reforma! Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Kids slept in living room on a fold out couch bed which was also fine. Staff was nice and helpful getting us tickets to the Folklore Ballet (highly recommended) and a tour to Teotihuacan (recommend going there but not necessarily with the hotel suggested tour - it's hassle free, but the guide, Manuel, wasn't all that informative). Room service was quick enough. Sitio taxi stand is just outside and staff can always call a taxi for you. Costs about 9-10 to get to Zocalo via taxi (we went to Cafe Tacuba - also recommended) and 15 to get back to the airport. Didn't try the hotel restaurant as there are plenty of restaurants in Zona Rosa and we had breakfast many mornings at the Pasteleria Alcazar two blocks west on Rio Lerma. We were generally out all day, but the suites are spacious enough for all four of us to relax comfortably after a long day tramping around. Kids had fun with the spa/tub.

Staff friendly. Furniture old and dirty as was carpet - bathroom dirty as well. Coffee machine but no pot and had to request several times.

I choose this hotel for myself & 3 college-age kids. Suite was spacious for all of us, 3 tv's, kitchenette. The staff was extremely friendly & helpful. Room was very clean, the bed comfortable, the sofa bed was "OK" per the boys. We felt very safe, just blocks from US Embassy. The hotel buffet was good ($8.00), lots of excellent restaurants around...and don't miss the best "steak & cheese" tacos at the kiosk at corner to the left as you exit. The kids kept wanting to eat there: 10 tacos + 4 sodas for $12 dollars! Hotel may not have 5-star amenities (spas, exercise room, pool, lobby bar,etc...but we got our exercise climbing the Sun Pyramid. Take the Turibus around town; there's a stop just 2 blocks from the hotel, it takes u all around, u get off, sightsee as long as u want, return to the Turibus Stop to catch next one. Catch Metro 1 block from the hotel, get off at famous Anthropological Museum (bus clean, roomy on this route). After Museum, cross the street and meander through Chapultepec Park, walk up to the Castle for a gloriousl view of the city. Tours booked at the front desk are great, & reasonable too. We went on a day's tour: Floating Gardens (kids loved this one), Univ of Mex campus, San Angelo district, Frieda Kahlo's house: Price $25.00 p/person. Bottled water sold at every corner. Highly recommend hotel for friendly staff, cleanliness, roomy bathroom, security & location: my 5-stars.

I was apprehensive about Mexico City but the trip was really great. And part of the satisfaction was from the hotel with very spacious rooms and its location is formidable. The only problem was on the Travel agency site I was not able to request 2 separate beds but the king-size bed is so big and comfortable it didn't matter in the end. The staff is very helpful and proactive-they informed me about daylight saving time, otherwise I would have missed my flight! I went to Teotihuacan with my elderly mom and it involves a lot of walking with little shade so what I suggest is to leave very elderly people in the hotel or in the tour bus which is what I did. I suggest that you take a taxi to go to the Museum of anthropology which is only a five dollar ride instead of paying 40 for the city tour and the museum tour. Around the corner, near the monument there is a department store Sanborns with very good food at reasonable prices.

The Suites Del Angel was faily comfortable, one bedroom suite seemed large. Everything was quite clean, staff was extremely helpful. Location is very good, close to pretty much every tourist attraction and good restaurants. Really good place to stay and good value for the money.

Our hotel was great. If you don?t mined the honking horns of the street below. Our room was as clean as it could be. The furnishings were a little old, but for the value and location it was perfect. The best part about this hotel was the employees. They were very helpful with all our bazaar request. The attached restaurant was very good and convenient, with the same helpful staff. I would highly recommend this hotel for regular people.

We would definitely stay at this hotel again. The rooms were very clean. The staff was extremely helpful. They made reservations at restaurants at our request and gave us directions when we needed them. The location of the hotel is great. There are several good restaurants on the same street, and the angel monument is right down the street.

I chose this hotel out because of the price, but I was shocked at how nice it was. The room was big, comfortable, and really clean. One big plus was a water filter in the hotel room. Ask the hotel staff for anything you need from finding places, to arranging a tour to the different pyramids outside of the city. Hotel also has a 24hr taxi stand right in front.

very nice hotel, super clean everywhere, completely changed out the bed, I mean completely. You can be assured that the bed will be clean and sterile. The bathroom is scrubbed daily. The staff is truly interested in making your stay enjoyable. Highly recommend the restaurants nearby. Excellent dining! Mexico City is a vacation stop that should not be missed. If you're not all that interested in 5 star emenities but are looking for value for your money, I recommend Suites Del Angel. One thing though, you won't see the Angel outside your window. There is a big building blocking the view now. No problem though. Because why spend your time all day in the room. Get out and about. There is plenty to do! Museums, excellent. La Zona Rosa - has a european/argentinian flair. Lots of gay couples, but who cares about that? The shopping is great, plenty of night clubs, excellent restaurants. No worries about getting mugged! I even risked the green VW bug taxis, no problem at all! Very cheap, the driver was helpful. The Ofrendans for Day of the Dead should not be missed!

Good value in respect to the type of room we have ;however we have the following issues: * only 1 or 2 staff on duty * it appear that staffs' main incentive were to offer you service that they could make tips such as tours, taxi... etc. The commission that they charge on tour is around 1/2 to 1/3 of the cost and the hotel taxi are about 3 times as expansive than those metered taxi that you can call on the street. * The same tour package or taxi service could cost you differently depending on which staff you talk to. So watch out! * Our original room has a bad view over the roof of some garages... After purchased a tour package from the staff, he offered us a room change with a better street view. We agreed to completely packed before going out on our tour that day and he will personally transfer our luggages to the new room. He even promised it again later when we exit the hotel to meet the tour guide. But when we returned late at night, our luggages were still in our room and the room promised to us were assigned to another guest. THe night staff told me that no one told him anything about the room change but he asked us to wait for 5 minutes to find any other room. We were tired and could not even take a shower but just stilling around to wait... 5 mintues turn into to close to half an hour... I called and gave them an ultimatum and finally, the night staff assigned us to a new room... The next day, the staff who failed to deliver did even have the courtesy to say sorry for his screwed up. So, watch out for any promises that they made. Always get a receipt of some kind. From that point on, we acquire no additional services from the hotel that will allow the staffs to make any additional tips. * We have 3 person staying in the room and we pay for the extras, but the room only were set up for 2 person and we have to call house keeping each day to give up more towels and bed spreads...etc for the additional person... a waste of time... The house keeping lady (cannot

Mexico City is a huge disconcerting metropolis. Having a safe, reliable home base and experienced staff that understands and supports travelers was a wonderful counterpoint. I loved the concierge. The neighborhood has all you need - food, entertainment, services, street life and lots of policeAll hotels are aligned with tour groups and the one used by this place was very good.I chose this place because it is a suite and allowed us to have separate spaces

Really liked Suites Del Angel. It was about 5 blocks from Metro (across Ave Reforma) and Sanbornes was just around the block. Although they had sort of a kitchen, there were no dishes, utensils, pots & pans, etc. They had a refrigerator, but it was used for a minibar. We put our beer in it anyway. Breakfast was included in our price and that was MUY convenient. They served eggs, pancakes, cereal, etc. When we go back to MX City, we will definitely stay there again.

100 % Satisfied with this hotel. Even though this is not a 4 or 5 stars hotel, the employees made a difference with their courtesy and respect to guests. I also enjoyed the fact that it was a small t.v. in the bathroom area. Very clean hotel !!!!

Great location. Room was comfortable and good size; bed very comfortable. However carpets were dirty and stained in the kitchenette area. The staff was quite friendly and helpful. We had a few nice breakfasts in the attached restaurant where the waiter was terrific! He was friendly and helpful. We were not pleased with the mini bar in the room where they tried to overcharge us for a bottle of water and we were not impressed with the overcharging by the taxicab that the hotel ordered for us. Other than that our stay was pleasant and we would definitely stay here again.
