Built around the restored ruins of a 370-year-old rum distillery, the Sugar Mill fronts a white-sand beach on the north shore of Tortola in the British Virgin Islands. The island of Tortola is located approximately 60 miles east of San Juan, Puerto Rico and 10 miles east of Saint Thomas, USVI. It is easily accessible by plane or ferry.
The beach restaurant, Islands, is open for lunch daily and the romantic Sugar Mill Restaurant, voted one of the three best restaurants in the Caribbean & Mexico, is open for dinner. The hotel's circular swimming pool is set amid swaying palm trees.
All rooms have private bathrooms, refrigerators, air-conditioning, hairdryers, irons & ironing boards, clock radio, telephones with dataports, coffee makers, and balconies.
The hotel is closed for its annual maintenance period from July 26th - September 30th each year. Rates are based on double occupancy. Charges for extra adults may apply and will be due directly to the hotel.
