i had to go to office to get soap towels, batteries for remote... the bed very uncomfortable... good shower

The location was close to where I needed to be. Room lighting, TV, lack of amenitites, bedding I had 1 towel and a bath mat in my room. I went to the from desk and got more linens. They said they were still doing laundry. I went to my event with the towels in my car. I thought I'd probably end up with double lines if they came by the room while I was gone, but upon return I still had a towel and bath mat. I went to prepare my dinner. The only silverware in the kitchenette was 3 knives, no forks or spoons. I went to the front desk. They had none. They went to an unoccupied room and gave me dirty silverware to take to my room and wash. The room had very poor lighting. The bedspread looked dirty. The pillows were flat. There was no alarm clock. The remote for the TV had no channel select numbers. To get from one station to another you had to arrow up and down.

Loitering by large groups looked like gang hangout. Parking lot is full of holes. I saw a car stuck in one of them. They were poorly marked.

I knew it was not going to be a five star hotel for * bucks a night only being about three mi from the park, so i was not really dissapointed that my maid didn't leave a chocolate on my pillow. In fact the house keepers never came through at all. But again I wasn't looking for luxerious accomidations just a roof, bed, shower, and toilet. The hotel is really close to a kroger and next to that (if you are interested) a liquor store with everything under the sun. Yes, I would stay there again, if and when I make another visit to six flags. So if you are interested in staying in a hotel that is not hard on the wallet stay in this hotel. Worked perfictally wonderful for what it was needed for. As far as my ratings they are the truth and in the grand scheme of things this hotel didn't score that high.

Pay the extra money and stay somewhere else. The staff was unpleasant and they couldn't explain why the high speed only worked in 1/3 of the rooms. Cigarette burns and the bathroom needing cleaning.
