Shower worked great. Dirty, smelly, not stocked, hard to get to. Would not recommend to anyone. Room as old furnishings, dirty, cigarette stench, kitchenette was barely there, not furnished. No ice on premises. Carpet so dirty, left black footprints on bathroom tile. Even towels were small and hard.

Great value. Kitchenette has full size refridgerator/freezer, coffee pot, microwave, toaster, dishes, utensils, stove, etc. The breakfast counter is roomy and comfortable, with plenty of space for a laptop or meals. Lots of lights. We made our own cereal, toast, sandwiches, etc. For food shopping, there is a Super walmart and a Smith's grocery store just north of the intersection. Our room was clean- sparkling white tile- clean floors. Believe me I looked really hard, as others had complained here. Don't be afraid of saving a few bucks- it was fine. Apr 09

Economically friendly. There was no continental breakfast. Check in was quick and easy. We had to switch rooms as our cable wasn't working, but overall stay was excellent.

This hotel is an amazing value for the money! Where else can you pay a low nightly rate and still receive a kitchenette and small dining area along with your room? All the plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, silverware, cookware (2 pots, 1 pan), cookng utentils, and dishwashing liquid were provided. The only thing we wished we had were a lid for the large frying pan and a set of measuring cups/spoons. But other than that, everything we needed was provided. The location is very convenient -- right at the junction of I-40 & I-25. Security might be a concern, but they have nice, bright security lighting in the parking lot, and a state police station is just one block away. Plus, it looks like the police do occasional drive-by's of hotel parking lots in this area. There are also lots of restaurants & fast-food off this exit...plus a Walmart and Walgreen's..etc. The hotel staff are very responsive. Upon check-in, we inquired about whether we had enough towels in our room for 3 guests, and the desk clerk gave us a stack of extra towels just in case. Also, our refrigerator wasn't working well the first night, so we told the desk clerk in the morning, and the maintenance person had everything fixed well by the time we returned in the afternoon. As an extended stay, the room is not made up (beds made, towels changed, trash emptied) every day...but we knew and expected that...so no problem for us. Looks like you can always pay for extra service if you want that (which we didn't.) Although the beds were a little lumpy, the room overall was such a great deal that we will definitely stay again next time we pass through Albuquerque.

Liked the ability to cook in--saved money on business trip. Would have liked more space, especially since we were cooking next to the bed.

WOW, we have stayed here before and has it ever gone downhill. The price was very cheap and the security guy who let us in was very nice but it is filthy. We are wondering if they leave it up to the last tenants to clean it. I brought Clorox wipes and can't even scratch the surface. The sheets had hair all over them. The security guy brought me a couple "clean" fllat sheets. We pre-payed so we are stuck. We are going to go get our own sheets and towels tomorrow to get thru the next four nights. It is very cheap so I don't know what we expected. I guess I figure that anything can be cleaned. I would not stay here again. It's looking like, pretty much across the board that you are better off checking the year built because these bargain places are only kept looking decent for 1-2 years.

Large bathroom. The pillows were few and very skimpy. This was the poorest extended stay facility I have seen. The crammed an efficiency in a standard room area. The bed was uncomfortable and I doubt if the area would meet federal standards for a Jail.

Clean room, few cable channels (no CNBC or MSNBC), but there was a mixup on the hotel's end concerning the reservation- they had me checked out after one night, even though I was booked for 6. Straightened out next day.

Kitchenette. Neighbor's loud plumbing all night. When someone turns on a faucet in one room, it isextremely loud for all adjoining rooms. This is especially bad at 2 or 3 a.m.

We had a great experience at this hotel. The kitchen in the room was adequate for making small meals and everything was clean and well kept. The only problem with the hotel was that we had a hard time finding it. Our mapquest directions and GPS directions were both inaccurate, and so we had to call the hotel in order to get correct directions. If staying here, you might want to call ahead and make sure that you have the directions right in order to avoid a frustrating drive.

I reserved this hotel online while traveling across country at Christmas time. I was just stopping through. It was in a good area near a college. Pros: It seemed to be a remodeled building with older cabinets and decorations. It looks great from the outside. The kitchenette had useful space with a double burner stove and lots of storage. Instead of a dining table there was an island with stools. I was happy with the new, clean coffee maker. The price for regular booking on the back of the door showed $30 more than what I booked online. Cons: I arrived at 1 AM, so the parking was packed. I had to park my car full of belongings far from view of my room. The visible spots were limited but at least there was onsite security. The cal king bed sagged in the middle but was still comfortable. The pillows were different variations of stiff and overly soft. The floor needed a good vacuuming. The housekeeping knocked at 9 am although the extended stay hotel noted cleaning every 4 days. The toilet clogged for both guests in my party repeatedly & flushed very loud. The shower drained very slow & the trap kept shutting while I was trying to drain it. No continental breakfast because it was an ?extended stay? hotel. Water in the shower was hard but maybe I should expect that in new Mexico as it is the same in California.

I left a business briefcase in my room after checking out and called to tell them exactly where I left it and housekeeping said they never found it (I assume someone kept it). The general manager was no help and suggested it was my fault for leaving it in the room. I agree, but items accidentlally left in a motel room should be turned in. In addition, the room was on the well-worn side and was not particularly clean. You get what you pay for with this place.

We had wake up calls every morning when they were not asked for. When asked why we were told that the people before us set them up and the hotel has no way of clearing them off. Also room service on our day of departure would not stop trying to get in to clean the room. Even though they knew we had not checked our. When we asked about that we were just told it's policy to just keep trying to come in until they can clean the room. The manager did not even say sorry or seem like he cared.

I booked through online travel website and only paid $** with tax.It normally would have been $**.I was supposed to have a king with kitchenet, but we checked in late and ended up getting 2 queen beds.I was satisfied with the room for the price, but if I would of paid ** bucks I think i might have been a little dissapointed. But the room was okay, nothing fancey or anything but it worked.

My wife and I had to go to Albuquerque for a couple of days and wanted a place to stay that wouldn't break the bank. When we found the Suburban Extended stay for only $41 per night, we really were not sure as to its comfort level or security for our vehicle. Wow! We were very surprized at the comfort and overall pleasantness of the stay. Nice comfortable beds, roomy bathroom, and an overall pleasant stay. Actually, we just got done staying in Las Cruces at a hotel that cost $126, and even though it had a pool and weightroom (that we did not use), and a bit fancier furniture, our stay in Albuquerque was actually better. This is the place to stay if you want a comfortable night stay with a kitchenett for a more than fair price. Friendly and helpful staff. Only one downfall - no ice machine. A small price to pay considering. Plenty of shopping in local area. Good stay, and we will be back.

one of the best hotels I have stayed in its right next to the interstate and shopping areas it is an extended stay so you dont get room service every day but if you need anything the front desk is always open even thought they lock the doors at night all you have to do is pick up the phone next to the door someone is always there

"the place was nice and clean and safe. the location was close to everything and Rudy's barbeque was a great surprise. also having access to a computer was a good thing, woud stay their again."

The service was lousy and the front desk people were extremely rude. We travel with pets and specifically checked their website for any pet deposits which did not appear. After paying the deposit in cash (which we had to do or they would not let us check in) then they billed the same fees to our credit card. This stay was a big disappointment.
