We have stayed at this hotel many times for both business and pleasure. The hotel staff are very friendly- nothing is too much trouble. The location is great in the centre of Harrogate with parking outside. Rooms are always first rate and the food is exceptional. Breakfasts are cooked fresh to order . Dinner at Thai Orchid is the highlight of my stay here and is well worth the 250 mile trip to get there just to eat here.

Good location, friendly and efficient staff, and a pleasant room although our room was a bit noisy with a loud continual loud plumbing type noise during the evening. We couldn't work out where it was coming from - it sounded as if someone was continually turning a tap on and off. Apart from this we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying at the same hotel again.

Everything was excellent, would highly recommend. We have stayed at quite a lot of hotels and this one would be high on our list. Good location, Parking good and near to a number of good bars and restaurants, including the highly acclaimed 'Orchid' below the hotel. Enjoy.

Good hotel in an excellent locationOur experience at the Studley was very positive. Although the room was a little small as was the en-siute it was perfectly adequate, was clean and had all that was needed for a short stay. We didn't use the restaurant except for breakfast which was excellent. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We would certainly stay here again.

A very pleasant stayWe were upgraded to an executive room, which was excellent. The position of the hotel, close to Valley Gardens, is convenient. The gardens are splendid. The staff were helpful and the Asian food in the restaurant was as good as we have found outside Thailand and Hong Kong.

ONE OF THE BEST IN HARROGATEMy husband and i travel to harrogate quite alot and we have stayed in a number of hotels, this one was by far one of the best. Its only classed as a 3 star but it should be a lot more, the decor is lovely and up to date which i prefer as most of the other hotels are quite old fashioned. The customer service was excellent and the cleanliness was of a very high standard. Parking was a bit tricky but we got lucky. We didn't try the food but we intend on going back and booking up at the orchid, it smelt amazing and looked fully booked. 10/10 i would recommend this hotel for couples, not so much for kids.

Excellent hotel. I had started to give up on finding proper customer service ever again after recent experience in large chains which should know better. This is a beautiful hotel - and we were really looked after. We almost felt like we were the only ones there - no noise, personal attention and a top view of Harrogate in the snow! Restaurant food to die for!

The room was very warm even though we turned all the radiators down. This made a good nights sleep impossible. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel was not particularly good for anyone with mobility problems as the stairs were steep and the hotel reception was on the first floor, also disabled parking was a problem.

Great hotel very close to centre of Harrogate and only a short walk to shops and bars. Staff very helpful. Room was comfortable and warm with excellent facilities. We ate in the restaurant and were very impressed, the food was excellent. Breakfast was cooked to order and again was excellent. We will definately be staying here again.

Very friendly and helpful staff on arrival. Our room was small but well equiped and furnished including a PS2 and flatscreen TV. Great view over the city also from the top floor. We were asked if we wanted to eat in the restaraunt downstairs, and we were so pleased we did. The food was fantastic, and it is worth while booking a table at the same time as your room as it is very very busy. We will definately be visiting again.
