This place is a dump.
Date of Stay:
December, 2008
It had a kitchen and was roomy. It stunk real bad didn't feel safe. This hotel smelled and the bed was too soft and there where some pretty bad dealings going on in the parking lot. I would never stay there again even if it was free.
Date of Stay:
August, 2008
We didn't know exactly where the hotel was located and when we got there we thought Oh No! Our room was right near the interstate and we were afraid we would hear the traffic all night. But, it was exactly the opposite. We heard no traffic at all, and much to our amazement we heard no other people in the hotel either. All of the staff was extremely nice and pleasant. They welcomed us and told us to be careful and have a great day when we left each time. Gave us everything we needed for our room and all. I would Love to stay again.

This hotel was convenient to UAB Hospital. The heat did not work in the first room. We asked for another coffee pot and did not receive one until the next day. The hotel was convenient to the hospital, but the service was terrible. After we had unpacked everything, we realized that the heater did not work properly. We had to pack up and move to a different room. In this other room, the coffee pot did not have the part that holds the filter. We notified the staff of the problem and we did not receive another coffee pot until the next morning. Also, if a hotel has more than one floor, there should be an elevator. I had a knee injury and the stairs made it worse.

When we checked in, the room was rather small and the carpet was wet. We were upgraded to a larger room, though we had to pay the difference. The staff was very helpful. Overall, our stay there was okay.

The location. Lack of internet access was a killer. It was an extended stay hotel, just not what I was expecting, but it was fine for a night.

Air/heat unit made it impossible to sleep when it cycled every 4 minutes. Room was clean, roomy but the noise from the air unit was ruined my good nights sleep. Finally had to turn it off. The mgr. upgraded our room since an online travel website booked it wrong according to her. Hotel will undergo renovations later in 07 and I hope they replace the air unit so I can stay there again. Very convenient and easy to find and get around from.

The employees are really nice and the location was excellent. The bed was kind lumpy and it may be time for new mattresses. My overall experience at the hotel was a good one but they should really considered new mattresses and check the knobs on the A/C and heat in room 112.

We prepaid our NON-smoking room & were guaranteed late arrival. We called at 4pm to say we would be late checking in but got no answer; left a message on v.m. Got there at 10:30 & were put in a smoking room. Almost had to sleep in car it was so bad! Desk clerk had given our room away obviously-she said she never got the message--wasn't even allowed to retrieve messages off their hotel voicemail! Poor service & attitude! Won't stay here again.

Location and price. Nonheated pool. I will stay at this hotel again when my business takes me to Birmingham Alabama. It is close to freeway access and dinning/shopping.

Every thing was great . Exept the details on the web site not clear ordered a deluxe room and was told it came with a couch that had a fold out . When we arrived there was no couch just a recliner . checked up front they said I had to get the deluxe room returned with the receipt that said deluxe and they brought us a fold out because there were no other rooms avalible .

Space of room. No soaps, shampoos, conditioners, not enough towels upon arrival. It was close to our desired location. Staff was friendly enough. Room size was great included a kitchen pool was very small.

Kitchen, comfortable bed. Phone didn't work to the front desk, etc. No shampoo/conditioner, no coffee cups. It was great for an overnight stay but was lacking in the smaller details of what you'd receive in better hotels. The outside looked great, but the inside was definitely economy-type. It was comfortable.

Cheap. There were roaches. The sheets were full of holes. The lady at the desk was rude and incompetent. We got what we expected.

The staff and the room were wonderful! It was close to the hospital (within 4 miles) and the best place we have stayed at thus far. Thank you so much!

Absolutely nothing. I could not get into it. They claim guaranteed late night check in which was a crock. I will never stay there.
Date of Stay:
August, 2006
The carpet looked like it had stains in some areas and in others your socks would stick to the floor as you walked. As in the 1st review--beds need work.

This hotel is very close to the mall, so it's very convenient. The hotel is very close to the Interstate, so the traffic noise is loud. This hotel is a good choice, especially if you are headed to Montgomery the next day. There is a Wal-Mart nearby. You can eat at Milo's Hamburgers. They're really good!
