The hotel is located next to the highway intersection in the center of old Stryn on the banks of the popular Nordfjord. The immediate surroundings are not very pretty consisting mostly of light industrial plots but this is a great base to explore some of Norway's loveliest scenery. The hotel's dining room is quite spacious and is well presented and is extremely popular with the local people of Stryn. The building itself is modern and of contempory design. The lobby area is ultra modern with fully glazed walls and ceiling, a polished granite floor and a slightly incongruously rustic reception desk.
