Overall you get what you pay for. However, when I arrived they did not have the room I requested available. They said they could upgrade my room to a suite for $75 total. I made sure that was not in addition to the total I already paid with Orbitz. Once I returned home I was very upset to see they charged $85 in addition to the $45 I paid on Orbitz. Don't get ripped off like I did.

Tower and rides were cool. Too much walking to get to room. Big casino and hotel lobby on opposite side of building as receiving. Elevator access on opposite side of hotel lobby.

We stayed 3 nights a little away from the main area of the strip but you can walk it. Plenty of shops in complex including McDonalds. Would stay again price was excelent

if u think the price is low for the room, better get everything ready BEFORE u arrive there, as the internet is an extra * per day ... couldn`t finish planning the rest of my trip.

we just relaxed at the pool. It was a nice restful break from work, would be better if it was in the middle of strip. This was not my best trip to vegas though the hotel is a little better then average

Restaurant wasvery entertaining, friendly and clean. Too far from the strip, refreshment service in casino too slow. Very bright and friendly, courteous. Only thing is that $15.00 for fun book was too much specially not everybody use those facilities.

Very nice hotel for the price loved the lounge on top of the hotel, the only issue i had was the selling of timeshare were i was asked about 20 times in my 5 day stay. Staff very frendly and very clean rooms.

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and had a great time. We had the Spa suite which was great, the garden tub had alot of room in there for both of us, and also had a decent view of the Strip. The Blackjack dealers were very helpful and offered advise/tips when playing, which was great for my wife. The rest of the staff was nice and polite as well. The different choices for food was great and you can eat in a different place every night and not leave the hotel. The only bad thing is the distance from the strip, but there are cabs right out front 24hrs a day and the monorail is about a block away at the Sahara. For *you can get a all day pass. Watch out for the Time Share people from Tahiti Village. We almost got pulled in, but didnt want to take the time they wanted us for. Although it could be a cheaper way to see Vgas with all the promos they offer if you check out the time share, free passes for shows and meals, etc. But had a great time and will definately go back!!

Overall I thought the hotel rooms were very average. However they were clean and comfortable. The resturants at this hotel are very good and are very affordable even on a tight budget. The free access to the tower (for hotel quests only) provides a spectacular view of the strip and the entire city at night. The casino is fairly large and usually not as crowded as some of the other strip casinos. The only downside is that this hotel is far away the main part of the strip. Definately not reasonable walking distance especially in the summer when it is over a 100 degrees outside. There is a bus stop next to the hotel and 7 dollars gets you a 24 hour unlimited use pass to anywhere in the city. There are also cabs lined up outside the main entrance at all times of the day.

i wouldn't stay in this hotel again-we were just driving through Vegas and only stayed for a night. The buffet in the Hotel is not good- so i would not recommend eating at it. Our room was okay but smelled really weird- and we found a hair on the pillow. If you have children i would not recommend Vegas as a place to bring them. The Hotel wasn't the worst place i have ever stayed at but it wasn't the best either.

I was surprised by the updated and clean rooms. At the north end of the strip in bad part of Vegas. I was extremely pleased with the Stratosphere. The parking facilities were a nice short walk to the front desk of the hotel. I was completely surprised by the updated and clean hotel room. I had always thought the Strat would be a dive based on its location on the old strip in the North, but I was completely blown away by how nice it was.

Despite being in a casino, the hotel had quiet areas. Our room was pleasant, quiet, clean and spacious and the price was very reasonable. The free guest laundry is very useful when travelling. The reception and concierge desks were very helpful.

My husband and I booked a stay at this hotel for our 15th anniversary trip. The hotel itself was very nice. Our room was clean and the bed linens were nice. The bed was a little hard, but overall we slept well. Room service was quick the one time we ordered it. There were a few too many kids at this hotel for an anniversary/couple get-away, but it was an excellent value for the money we spent. We wanted a get-away without spending an extraordinary amount of money and this hotel provided that well. The only thing about our room was that there was a family with about 5 children staying next door and the walls transmitted noise quite easily because they were very loud!!! We watched the show at the hotel (Superstars) and it was very good and you got 2 for 1 tickets if you were staying there, which was a good value (about 45 for 2 tickets, which seemed to be excellent when it comes to show ticket cost in Vegas!). We ate at the Top of the World restaurant on top of the Stratosphere, which had a beautiful view and wonderful atmosphere. However, we felt the food was a little overpriced for the quality, but I again guess you were paying for view and atmosphere. It is at the very end of the strip, so if you want to get to the main part of the strip you have to take the bus (the deuce), which we thought was a little inconvenient, but you could ride all day for 5. Overall, if you are looking for a clean simple room at a good price, this hotel provides that very well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

The staff was great, Hotel was over booked and the room I booked was given away. We spoke to Mrs. [...] who worked with us, was able to give us a better room and tickets for a show.GO, [...] for making my trip better.

Great hotel, rooms are a good size, clean and well furnished. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is at the end of the 'Strip' but there is a bus stop just outside that runs up and down the strip so easy access to the rest of Las Vegas. I would recommend this hotel as value for money

Upon check In asked for an upgrade because married before arrival, clerk said he couldn't . A nearby clerk leaned over & whispered into 1st clerks ear and w were upgraded to Tower room, given a free coupon book and two vouchers for a show @ the hotel. Upon leaving bags in room I immediately went to get tickets for one of the two in house shows and was promptly told the vouchers were expired and to go back to front desk. I did so and they refused to exchange them even after my telling them I had been given vouchers less than an hour prior which could have easily been verified. Aked for an got a MGR. who was no help at all. Decided even though I would stay at the hotel they would not get any more of my money on gaming or shows. Carried a bottle of wine to one bar and asked bartender could he uncork it? Be prepared for worrisome/pushy time share reps whenever you are leaving/entering the hotel from parking garage. By the way coupon book worthless only good for stuff @ the hotel.
