Strandhotel Glucksburg can be found in the centre of Glucksburg, right by the sandy beach, only 8 km from the city of Flensburg, which is ideal for shopping, and in direct vicinity of the Glucksburg moated castle. There is a steamer bridge right in front of the hotel. This new and noble holiday and business hotel in Scandinavian style enjoys a prime location. As os 2008 the traditional hotel has completely new interiors (the whole building is a non-smoking area). Strandhotel Glucksburg presents 45 rooms and suites, most of which provide a view to the Flensburg fjord and the coast of Denmark. The lovely arranged rooms are bright and charming. Oriels, loggias, balconies and stucco ceilings reflect the building’s lordly elegance. All rooms are equipped with shower, bathtub, WC, hair dryer, direct dial telephone, satellite TV with radio, desk and minibar. WLAN internet access is offered in all parts of the hotel including the conference rooms, which also feature internet access via ISDN. In addition, the hotel comprises the Felix restaurant, a cafe and a small wellness area including sauna, steam bath and massage room.
