The structure of Stella Maris is positioned about 50 meters directly above the sea , positioned in a South/Southwest direction. It's position gives one of the most spectacular views of Golfo Paradiso and Ligurian Riviera , which on a clear day , one can see the coastline almost up to France (over 100km away). You can comfortably enjoy from your room the beautiful sunsets and romantic nights illuminated by the light of the moon reflecting on the mirror of water that surrounds us. The restaurant is composed of two environments , one in the open with a terrace , verandah and garden and the other an indoor room. From April till mid-October mainly the outdoor part is used. With a splendid view of Golfo Paradiso and the Ligurian Riviera , it's ideal for romantic candlelight dinners.The candlelight atmosphere , bathed in the gentle light of the moon that's resting in the starry sky. Accompanied in the background by soothing music , a dinner on our terrace promises enchanted evenings and tender moments where one can relish great traditional cooking. Our philosophy of cuisine is to offer our guests dishes cooked exclusively with fresh foods that are the best that the seasons offer. Therefore , in different periods of the year you can taste different types of fish , shellfish and other products local to Liguria.We have chosen to value the products of our earth and the traditional Ligurian kitchen , one of the richest and varied in Italy.Our menus exclude frozen foods and farmed fish.All the fresh pasta we serve is produced by us. Our kitchen is mainly based on what the surrounding sea offers us. With our position we can have fresh fish every day caught by the local fishermen and often before they get to the markets of Camogli. Fish such as red gurnard , gilthead bream , ricciole , pagari , occhiate , mormore , bass , dentex , are some that are available. Also there are prawns and scampi so fresh that one can eat them raw.
