This place is great. clean clean clean...was worried about train but there is a new city ord. that doen't allow the train to blow its whistle..so no train noise. the staff is great especially the short guy with the bald head and nice eyes...great customer service! I will be back when I have to go to Ft. Sam Houston Army base. Breakfast could be a little cleaner but it was a crazy sunday morning. great booze on Tues night. stay here away from riverwalk traffic and free parking!!!!!

This was the best hotel stay and it was a great location. The river walk was only a block away it's walking distance. It saved on gas and money because your car stays parked at the hotel and you dont have to pay for parking at the river walk.

Complimentary breakfast and happy hour. Lack of shade at the pool in the afternoon. This is a great place to stay with your family, and we will definitely stay again. The room was a good size and clean. The complimentary breakfast was fresh and filling. The mid-week Happy Hour could easily serve as a light dinner. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The kitchenette in the room was much more than we expected. With the kitchen, breakfast, and happy hour, you can certainly cut your food budget while traveling.

We'd never stayed at any Staybridge property before, so didn't know what to expect. The rooms were clean and well supplied. My daughter was attending a state science fair at the convention center - the location couldn't have been better. Transportation to and from the convention center and the Riverwalk was trouble-free and quick. A trolly and bus come by every 12 minutes. The morning breakfast is good - the best part was making your own waffles. The Alamodome is down the street - great when flying in for games. This is definitely my choice of hotel in San Antonio.

Great breakfast .We were able to make our own waffles and cover them with all the real butter and strawberries you could eat. My grandson was ecstatic. On Mon thru Thurs eve they provided complimentary wine and beer plus a little something to snack on .(I had the best barbeque brisket and beans Tues nite.I do not know many hotels that provide free beverages and snacks (more like a dinner )in the evenings. The only thing I missed was Movies on Demand.I would recommend this hotel to anyone especially familys on a budget.

The rooms were clean and the staff was helpful with directions. The clock radio was on in the room when arrived, loud Spanish music. I would stay there again. It was close to everything, just a little pricey.

Staybridge Suites was a great hotel! It was new, clean, bright, and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast each morning was perfect and all of the food was fresh and delicious. I was nervous about the hotel not being on the riverwalk, but it was only a five minute walk. For someone from Boston, this is not far to walk at all. It was nice to be in the warm weather and not have to worry about parking a car. Our room had a great view of the Tower of the Americas and was on the sixth floor...it was gorgeous at night to see the tower all lit up! The hotel was booked solid all weekend for an Army function, but you would never know. The rooms are quiet and we never had to wait for anything. It was nice to have a little kitchen in the suite to keep waters cold and make hot tea in the microwave. It was also nice to be able to take leftovers back to the room for a snack later. I would definitely stay at this hotel again! For the price and location, you cannot get a better deal!

This hotel was the best ever. We got a suite and it was amazing with flat screen tv, comfy beds, great everything...we had a view of the tower of the americas. Great breakfast buffet *free*. The only thing that needs improvment is the elevators one was broke and the pool was tiney but other than that i will look forward to staying here again.

Everything was perfect except for the parking. I was a little uneasy having to walk from the parking lot to the hotel, but there was a guard onsite to make me & my daughter feel safer. The staff was very helpful and the service was prompt. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. Very close to the Riverwalk and great restaurants.

What a pleasant surprise this gem was for this frequent business traveller. As a light sleeper, my top priority is quiet and comfort, and this hotel definitely delivered on those and other necessities! The free breakfast is a nice feature, as is the evening cocktail/appetizer presentation. Slightly out of the way from downtown/Riverwalk, but still within walking distance, or a quick/inexpensive cab ride. All of the above, and the helpful and polite staff made this one of my best stays all year.

This hotel is brand new and it's AMAZING!! You will not be dissapointed with this hotel!!! The staff is great and always ready to assist you with a smile on their face! The room was beautiful and well appointed...the full kitchens in the suites are fabulous! From now on every time I return to San Antonio i will be staying with the fine folks at the Staybridge Suites Sunset Station!!!

The breakfast was good especially on our way out to sight see and the bus stops were a good source of transportation considering no parking downtown. The location was good and the rooms were very clean and roomy. The breakfast was wonderful. The staff and front desk were friendly and helpful when needing directions to places. I will most definitely stay here again on my next visit.
