The Staybridge Suites Hamilton is a surprise supervalue for those requiring extended stay amenities. There is nothing to fault in the hotels feature except the warm temperature of the fitness room due to nearby laundry machines (which are free). Otherwise I cannot fault a single feature of this hotel. The kitchen area is very well equipped, beds are supplied with very heavy quality linens, and the high-speed internet worked flawlessly straight away. The mini-convenience store area located near the main desk has a surprising array of items. Breakfasts are above average featuring hot breakfast meats, pancakes, fresh fruit and many other items. After all that, do I have anything negative to say? Well, unfortunately, yes. The hotel is located in downtown Hamilton, which appears to be a very rough neighbourhood. My sister warned me, if I heard shots fired, to duck behind something solid. She was exaggerating, but you get the idea. Don't let me discourage anyone. I would stay at this hotel again in a heartbeat if I were in this area. It compares vry favourably to other local hotels costing much more.

The hotel is very clean, well kept and friendly staff. Rooms are very luxurious. There are limited parking spaces, non-hotel guests are allowed to pay a fee and park in the lot also, thus the need to double park (double parked car leaves the keys at the front desk, which is unsettling). The hotel is downtown, I have been told not to leave anything valuable in the car because of the possiblity of it being broken into. There was no incident with my car.
