The first room we were given was on the first floor and did not have windows that opened (for security, I am sure) and on the second day, the toilet backed up. My husband put in a call to have the situation fixed and when we returned from sightseeing 4 hours later we found out the toilet was never fixed & the maintenance people left for the day. The response was a front desk staffer brought my husband a plastic bag and a plunger....really?!? My husband even tried to fix the toilet himself to no avail and finally spoke to the Director of Sales who seemed horrified and apologized, issued us a new room and said he would contact us the next day to make sure everything was ok. (NO help was offered to us to move all of our bags and groceries, etc since this is a suite hotel with a kitchen and we were fully stocked to stay for a week.) Of course, we never were contacted and felt like the service could have been much better. The rest of the front desk staff and the breakfast staff were very friendly though. Anyway, the hotel was clean and surprisingly quiet given its proximity to the airport. The breakfast was nice and the free pool/fitness center and laundry facilities were awesome. Aside from feeling snubbed and inconvenienced our first days, the hotel was really an amazing deal.

We stayed for 9 nights and it was awesome. The staff was the best, very friendly and willing to go the extra mile. We made use of all the amenities: Pool house, outdoor grills, kitchens, free breakfast, laundry, and exercise room. Would definitely stay again!!!!!!!!!

I was most impressed with the cleanliness, decor and all around service at this hotel. One of the staff (Brandon) went above and beyond to make our stay most pleasant. He was very courteous, respectful, helpful and so professional!! Thank you so much Brandon for all of your assistance!! The location is great, and it was very quiet there. Rooms are spacious and have wonderful ammenities. We will definitely be back!!

Nice size suite, very clean with mini-kitchen and full size refrigerator. Breakfast buffet included, and is excellent quality. Easy access off Airport Way, short distance from I-205. I would definitely stay here again.

Very clean and classy! Great breakfast bar. Couldn't get cool enough. The windows wouldn't open, and the air conditioning wasn't cooling enough. It's a great place for an extended stay. They make sure that everything is available for the business traveler. It was exceptional for leisure travel, too! It's very close to the airport, many stores and restaurants.

The room was very nice, clean, and spacious. The hotel was quiet and the staff were pleasent. The continental breakfast wasn't half bad either. If you have to stay close to the airport it is definately worth checking out.

This hotel was selected for its location near the airport (a late evening arrival) and easy access to Washington state for the next day drive. I only wish I had had more time to appreciate the room and location. If an east side city base camp (with kitchen) suits, this is the place. There was no airport noise. Actual rating would be about 4.5 for the money.

The TV in the bedroom did not work. The hotel was well-appointed, in a good location and the staff was efficient.

We were very inpressed with the amenities Staybridge offered. The room gave us everything we needed: plenty of room and comfort. What I liked most was the restaurant downstairs. Although the options were limited...we had a great dinner and breakfast. Considering there were three of us, this is what made our stay so reasonable. We will be looking for Staybridge Hotels for our next trip.

The front desk clerk was very helpful, and polite. This hotel was a good choice for many reasons. For starters the front desk clerk/manager gave me better directions than map point, was polite, knowledgeable and friendly. The little amenities/snack shack next to the office was a very pleasant surprise, and thankfully provided a wide variety of snacks some of which were not only tasty but actually healthy. The room had a little kitchen and large fridge which was also a wonderful surprise. There was a nice open living room dinning area that looked out on an open green lawn for guests with lots of light, and connected to the very extensive breakfast buffet for guests. My sister and I did not partake but we did observe many couples, individual business men/women and families that did. In particular I noticed a man and his wife enjoying waffles topped with strawberries. I also noticed several freshly brewed coffee choices available. We were in a rush to meet some friends in downtown Portland so we did not have breakfast at the hotel, however the array was impressive. Access to the airport was quick and easy, as well as to the major highway/freeway so that was a plus. I recommend staying at this hotel. Definitely.

My wife and I had the misfortune of scheduling a trip to Portland during the Portland Marathon. As a result, we couldn't find a hotel close to town to save our life. So we chose the Staybridge by default. It's really quite nice. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the facilities are first rate, including a nice mini-gym and indoor pool. It's close to some fast food joints, if that's your thing, and there's a Starbucks a couple of blocks away. The only real negative is the place is about a 20-minute drive from downtown Portland. So if you'd like to be close to where the action is, don't choose this hotel. On the other hand, if you have a car, and don't mind the extra drive, this place would fit the bill. And the price is right. Plus, it's seconds away from the airport.

It's near enough the airport and has shuttle service to ensure travel conveneince. No perceptable jet noises at night. Room size, (suite), cleanliness and quality of furnishings were excellent. Kitchen stocked with hardware ideal for shorter or prolonged stay. Breakfast provided was excellent. (not just choice of pancakes or muffins - actually healthy food!!!!!). I will use this hotel for all my trips out of PDX....NO question.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, great stay! The hotel staff went out of their way to be helpful to us, and make our stay as nice as possible. The room was comfortable and clean, nice amenities. Complimentary breakfast and dinner were tasty. Be sure to join Priority Club before arriving, to receive a goodies bag of snacks on arrival!

The studio room was perfect, has everything including a complete kitchen with supplies, coffee all the times, breakfast included was nice and even a complimentary dinner with beer and wine. Close to airport as expected. Employees very nice and helpful: one day we discovered we left the car lights on, power were off and they recharged the car battery in 5 minutes with a smile on their face all the times.
