Hotel very close to the bus terminal so very noisy and in a terrible part of Naples with rubbish and homeless people everywhere. Had to catch bus to get to main city centre. Breakfast was nice but staff at front desk a bit reluctant to help and slow. Room was nice and clean.

The Starhotels Terminus Naples is in an excellent location for travelling right next to the train station. The room was well equiped but very small. If you are booking make sure you get a quiet room as the one I had was on the exterior and the noise was extreme. The breakfast was very nice. One of the reception staff and the porter I encountered could do with a few lessons in customer service and learn how to smile. The location outside the Hotel is a bit dodgy but for an overnight stay it is very convenient

The Star Hotel is located at the train terminal which is a very busy area. Once inside it is a great quiet place with much class for it's value. The staff was more than helpful with underground secure parking. Naples is not a city which one wants to drive in.

Well located hotel next to the train station - there is no need to seek out Vesuviana train station for trips to Ercalono (for Herculaem) or Pompei (for Pompei) as trains run from the main station to these sites. For light sleepers, you need an inner courtyard room rather than one looking out onto the square or the back of the train station - not overly noisy but audible nonetheless. Rooms large and comfortable. Breakfast consistently below average as whilst there was hot food (scrambled eggs, sausages) and a cold buffet (cereals, breads, pastries, etc.) utensils kept running out as did the foodstuffs. That aside, this is a good 4 star hotel well located with restaurants to the side only a 5 min walk away. Piazza Garibaldi is a construction site at the moment which means that you have to wind your way around the various walls but the noise is minimal. Well recommended.

Excellent hotel and close to the Termini Central Station. We were very satisfied with the room, the staff and the breakfast was a highlight every morning!

Decor tired, grubby looking walls, cracked mirror and graffity in lift. Location easy to get to but rough and dirty, too far from attractions.

Room was a bit noisy as it was overlooking the station and smelt of smog. I have stayed here before and some rooms are a lot better than this one. Very handy for the station. Great pizzerias 10 min walk - Da Michele or Trianon.

this is a great hotel if you want to use naples as a base to visit pompeii etc. as it's right by the station. very professional staff and the breakfast is good (hot and cold food). good reasonably priced restaurants down the street, and alot of shopping is futher down the same street. room is quiet. overall a very pleasant stay. not the prettiest area of naples but if you're using the trains or if you just want a sample of naples without totally commiting yourself to the crowds and traffic it's a good choice! i will stay again

The first room I not was not very good. Bad shower and a above the railwayline. I complained and changed to a recently renovated room on the sixth floor, and this was very good and quiet. I can recommend the Starhotels Terminus Naples if you want to stay close to i.e. the trains, but ask for a quiet and renovated room! The breakfast was plenty. Good restaurants close by.

Nice hotel. Clean and comfortable. Good Staff. Nice overall stay. The surrounding neighborhood wasn't all that great. Lots of construction and garbage in the streets. But after the construction is done, the square and train station may be very nice. Lots of traffic, butthe noise didn't come in the room. For a great meal, walk around the corner and eat at "Franco Ristorante". Ask for Pepe!

Nicely decorated rooms - could have been a bit cleaner. Reception area and hotel lobby elegant and nice. Breakfast quite ok - nice restaurant. Big place in front of the hotel very noisy and under reconstruction. How will it look afterwards??? The rooms however very good isolated and quiet. Alll in all good location for sightseeing! We were statisfied!

The hotel was an overnight stop en route to the Amalfi coast. Convenient location for the train station but we wouldn't go outside of the hotel as it looked very dirty outside and didn't feel very safe. The hotel was nice enough and the room adequate but breakfast service was terrible. We were sat at an empty table and no one came to serve us - we had to take our own cutlery from a sideboard even though staff were around clearing other tables. The head waiter was more concerned with chatting to a guest and I had to go and ask if we could have coffee. We had barely started to eat our breakfast when we were asked if we wanted anything else from the buffet and five minutes later were told breakfast service was finished and would we please leave! The previous night when we arrived late we were just in time for a drink from the bar and ordered 2 martinis (to celebrate the start of a well-earned holiday), which arrived in wine glasses with no lemon or olives - barman was miserable and anxious to close up the tiny bar and go home. All in all an adequate hotel if you are stopping en route to somewhere else but wouldn't recommend staying there more than one night. Someone definitely needs to have a sharp word in the ear of the restaurant staff - particularly the one who is supposed to be in charge.

Wonderful Hotel. Quality vs. price fantastic. Coming from noisy station and entering the elegant, spacious lobby, we felt like beeing on a lovely island. Staff was extremly helpful and friendly and our very luxury furnished big room on the 6th floor had a balkony from where we could see the castle as well as the sea. We can highly recommend Starhotel Terminus and stay there again when we come back to Naples.

There was supposed to be a complimentary shuttle to the airport--no shuttle. Shower had no door, but a curtain than ran to about 2 inches off the floor. No ledge on the floor, so shower water floods the bathroom with each use. Very unsafe area. Spend as little time there as necessary.

Very happy with the service we got here. There was a strike on with the ferries to Capri, we had our hotel booked there, but where unable to get there. If not for the a very pleasent staff member who took the time to ring our hotel on Capri and explain the strike. We would have lost around 300 euro.
