Both restaurants feature international cuisine as well as traditional recipes and typical Parma flavours. The bar boasts a relaxing and refined ambience with its black marble countertop, surrounded by comfortable armchairs and mirrors.

Superb base to visit a wonderful place. A really pleasant wander through the park takes you directly to Ponte Verdi in 5 mins. Supermarket over the road for the essentials, and there is a free bus from the airport (10mins) or it is a 10 euro taxi ride. Go to eat at Sorrelle Picchi for the finest Culatello, it is on Via Ferani.

This is an excellent hotel. Elegant and spacious in a perfect location for visiting this glorious town. You can walk direct from the hotel into the large 'Parc Ducale' and then across the river bridge into the old town with all its treasures. The staff are very helpful and whilst I attempted to use my sparse Italian they all spoke English. The menu gives you the opportunity to try the very best local dishes which are comparatively well priced. Quality but value for money.

Hotel was a not located in the centre which was fine for us but may not suit those less agile. The staff were very friendly and helfpul particularly with directions and restaurant recommentations. There was a good choice at breakfast. The rooms were very warm and as hotel located on a busy road it was too noisy to have the window open. There was no hot water one evening, but everything else was good so the positives far outweigh the negatives.
