review on St Rita's hotel, PlymouthStaff were friendly. Hotel was a bit past its sell by date. mattress on the bed was only 3" thick and no dressing table or bedside table on one side of the bed. Could not get heating to work. water for coffee and tea tasted as though it had been in pipes for a long time. Everything a bit stale.

The room was ok for a short stay but the bed was very uncomfortable the mattress was old and springy which dug into you it did not have a mattress cover on it just a thin sheet in my opinion matress and pillows should all ways have a cover on them for hygiene especially when used by a number of people

Good accommodation for those on a budget. Short walk from Railway Station, within walking distance of centre and the Hoe. Friendly and comfortable, found this hotel to be excellent value and will stay again next time in Plymouth. Only had a light breakfast, a full english was available, which was served promptly.

Cool experience, very convenient location, huge room and bathroom, very good service and breakfast. I was a bit worried reading some poor comments before booking, but this hotel was a good value for money so I decided to book anyway, and our experience was excellent, no problems at all!

Great Family Accomodation!Great room for a family of 5 (2 adults & 3 Children) The St Rita is good family value at a great price with friendly staff and a Great English breakfast. We have used this hotel for the past 3 years and that was because we could all stay in the family room together and not have to split the family into two rooms as you have to at most hotels, the St Rita has been redecorated and this has given it back it's fresh appearance. Most of all it's a great place to stay for those on a budget and for those who want friendly staff where nothing is to much trouble. It was a pleasure to stay there again and we will be back. Thank you all at St Rita.

Fantasticvalue for money, with lovely rooms, and colose to local amenitieswe stayed for 1 night, the room was fantastic, really lovely. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean and tidy. 5 mins away from the city centre, and local bus routes stop right outside the hotel. The only down side was that all of the rooms weren't en suite, but the shower room was clean and there was never anyone in there when we went to use it.

The management couldn't have been more friendly. When we discovered we were on the top floor they offered to take our case upstairs for us and brought them down the next morning.

First of many visits.I cannot fault this 'cheap and cheerful place to stay whilst visiting Plymouth'. It is excellent value for money. My room and en-suite shower were very clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was generous - despite me being vegetarian!

Review St. Rita Hotel, PlymouthWe found the hotel easy to find with adequate parking. The proprietor was extremely welcoming and friendly without being \"In your face\".The room was spotless, breakfast was cooked fresh when we asked for it although it would have been nice to have been offered proper coffee. Checking in and out was easy and fuss free. A very pleasant evening thankyou.
