Nice apartment, great location, however it was very expensive for what we got.

Excellent accomandation, very central The appartments were clean and in an excellent location. Each appartment had tea, coffee, orange juice and water. Each bedroom has a hairdryer but it was not present in my room. Excellent for groups of people and a family. Be aware room 6 is up a lot of stairs and beds are double and not single bed if you are travelling with a group.

standard apartmentThe apartment was nice, with a very comfortable living room and fully equipped kitchen. two dorms and one bathroom. The apartment was not very clean, but it was also not dirty. It is very well located in the old town. There were two hen parties around, so it seems it is a common place for that, although we did not suffer any noise problems. The price is good for edimburgh standards I would say

Magic WeekendWe went to Edinburgh for the Rugby League Magic Weekend. What a fantastic weekend it was! We arrived early but we were able to check in, unpack and soak up the atmosphere in this fantastic city. The apartments were wonderful. Large, clean, modern rooms which accomodated the five of us really well. We were right in the middle of the Royal Mile so just a 5 min walk up to the castle or 5 min walk down to Princess Street for shopping. Our team won so that added to the occasion and we will without a doubt be back same time next year to stay in these apartments again.

Excellent accommodation in central locationWe were delighted with the immaculate accommodation. Large appartment was easy to find and keys quickly obtained from the shop below. Car parking was available a short distance away at the Radisson Hotel (£18 for 24 hours). Beautifully and comprehensively furnished with stylish contents, the appartment was spacious, warm and comfortable. Central location meant easy access to sights, shopping, restaurants etc. Lots going on outside so good if you wanted to get atmosphere but perhaps not so good if you like a really quiet location. We loved it!

Good Central locationExcellent to use as a base for visiting Edinburgh. Good spacious accommodation, furnished to a good standard. Was rather noisy at night(good natured revellers, and the street cleansing dept.), but i assume this is because the windows cannot be double glazed as they would change the exterior look of the building, so take ear plugs if you want a good nights sleep! Would use again is the best recommendation i can give.

Nether CraigwellThe apartment was ideally situated close to Holyrood Palace & the Scottish Parliament Building. It was within healthy walking distance of the Royal Mile & Princes Street. Parking at the apartments was good. Situated just off Calton Road (cobbled street). We enjoyed the convenient location and our two night stay. The apartment was modern, clean with ample clean linen & towels provided. All mod cons available in a tidy, compact kitchen.

St Giles Apartments, EdinburghExcellent 'aparthotel' style of flat fitted to a high standard in a great location and with wonderful views. Being the three bed top flat meant we got lots of exercise as well. The lounge meant we were able to work around a large table (although it was a bit wobbly) rather than in our respective rooms as we might in a hotel. Apart from being a nicer way to work, we could discuss issues and work together more easily, making for a better working environment. Also a very comfortable living room with a large telly and Freeview (neer in a Scottish hotel have I been able to get Radio 4 or 5 so this was great).Overall we agreed it was a great place to stay for business or leisure.

Perfect Edinburgh LocationSt Giles Apartments on the High Street are the perfect Edinburgh location. We had a great weekend, the apartment was very spacious, clean, with all mod cons and perfect for our stay in Edinburgh.

Excellent location for exploring Edinburgh. Very helpful staff. Facilities available for leaving luggage prior to check in and after check out. My only comment is that with teenage kids, twin beds in the second bedroom would have been better. However, the description of the facilities did clearly state the fact that there were x2 double beds. Would definately choose these appartments again if I visit Edinburgh

Great, well equipped appartment in fabulous position on the Royal Mile overlooking St Giles Cathedral. Well furnished, but beds could have been better quality. Would definately book again. Had a great weekend.

We attempted to book the St Giles apartment near the St Giles Cathedral. However upon arrival we found we had actually been booked into an apartment about a mile away, At no time was this explained to us and if we had known before we would not have booked an apartment in this location. This was a mile from the shop on the Royal Mile where we had to collect the key, double yellow lines outside, nowhere to park legally. When I asked in the shop I was informed that somebody had received a ticket ealier whilst collecting keys. Without a car this apartment is too far to walk too with luggage. Upon arrival we found the accomodation had not been thoroughly cleaned, extrament in the toilet, urine stains on the toilet seat, tomato seeds on the kitchen work surfacea nd the kitchen bin unemptied. The apartment is above the units car parking on Calton Road, at the front of the development. Calton Road is cobbled at this point and a busy thoroughfare. The noise of passing traffic made sleep difficult. The owners do not show the location on late rooms or their own website I cannot recommend this apartment as a place to stay.
