Unexpected PleasureFirst time for us to Llandudno, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The hotel was excellent, service was great, all the staff were very pleasant and attentive. The room was clean, modern and relaxing. The food was good. The only thing I would mention as a negative is parking....at the hotel there are limited spaces, and parking in Llandudno can be a challenge. Maybe one day they could operate an off site parking facility ?

An enjoyable break A comfortable clean room which had everything we required. Lovely large bathroom with bath and shower. Excellent breakfast which could not be faulted . Dinner which was included in the special spring break late rooms deal was of a high quality but in honesty I wouldn't like to have paid the full normal price. The meal was also slightly spoiled by the position of our table which was on a corridor like part of the dining room with a constant flow of staff and guests walking by. Had we taken dinner a second night I would have requested a more secluded table. This however was personal to us taking a romantic break and I have to say overall the standard of the hotel was very high and fair value .

booked room via 'late-rooms.' request made for front-facing room. on arrival, informed that there were no front-facing rooms available, informed them that i had requested the same, they said that because it was a late-deal they couldn't guarantee one, then they said they had one which we thought was fantastic given the initial disappointment, after a while went up to the room only to find it was at the back of the hotel overlooking the car park - lovely! - went back down to inform the receptionist, she thought about it for a minute and then confirmed that yes, it was rear-facing as opposed to front after all! and they still had no front-facing rooms left. Great.

A really friendly relaxed hotel in an ideal position. Staff where very helpful, food was excellent, our room, although small was clean and comfy. would definitely recommend to friends and use again ourselves.

Very friendly staff - were very kind to our 18 month old daughter! However - a proper ramp access would be very useful (instead of having to call staff to enable the chair lift on the other entrance). it was quite a job to get a pram in and out of the hotel!

Very nice hotel, and very clean too. Room was small but unexpected sea view was a bonus that made up for it! Dinner in the restaurant was brilliant, very good menu and the food was fantastic. Service at Breakfast on the first morning wasn't very good but think that due to a few complaints this was rectified the following morning and the service was very good.Decor of the hotel was modern and well designed and the room was lovely. A great place for a relaxing couple of days and very good value for money. The hotel is right on the sea front and very close to all of the shops and the Great Orme. We had a lovely mini-break and would recommend the hotel to anyone who likes short breaks away, and we will definitely be returning very soon!

The hotel has clearly been recently refurbished (I stayed in the hotel aprox. 15 years ago) The room was large and comfortable and the bathroom was huge. Though not paying a premium there was a 50% sea view - which was very welcome. My wife and myself did not dine at the hotel as we were attending a concert. However the menu was very attractive though perhaps pricey. A very nice hotel attentive staff an enjoyable experience.

We booked B&B, hoping to take dinner at the hotel. Unfortunately, the restaurant was fully booked when we checked in, which probably reflected the quality of the food that was available, but inconvenient for us! Our room was small but comfortable and clean. Ideal for sitting on the terrace and watching the seafront and the world go by...!!!

The hotel in fact was excellent. Very accessible for everything. We have now tried the Classic twin room and the Executive twin room both very nice. The Executive is much more roomy. After living abroad for so many years still feel the cost of the accommodation is still too high. All things considered we would definately stay in this hotel again as the service, cleanliness and everything else involved is first class and if that is what we want then we have to be prepared to pay for it. A recent visitor from. Now living in Shropshire

It would have been helpful if we were informed that we will have to provide our own network ethanet cable to be able to access the free broadband service advertised. or better still one should be provided for free instead of the £3 charge

Pleasant stay, excellent staff and plenty of them, good restaurant, but sadly I felt that the price of the accomodation was a bit steep for what was an ordinary room. Nevertheless, this hotel looked the one of the best in Llandudno

Hotel location excellent. Staff excellent. Rooms fine but could do with paintwork freshening up. Food excellent but not sure how often menu is changed, it was the same for the 3 days we stayed. plenty of veriety at breakfast and all nicely cooked for a buffet style service (not practical to do it any other way) but you can order items that require fresh preparation e.g. poached eggs.Only down side is that there is little to do in the hotel and no entertainment.

Only criticism is that I left the 'do not disturb' sign on my door as I prefer for no-one to enter my room during my stay. Also, there is no need to change towels / bedding after one night. However, my room was still entered.

The staff at the hotel could not be faulted, they were polite and helpful. The only problem we found was parking. The hotels car park was small and for the two days we were there we did not manage to get a parking spot, and parking on the street was limited.

We were unaware that the hotel had suffered a considerable fire within the main kitchen two weeks prior to our visit and this made the catering arrangements reduced. Dinner was offered with a bistro style menu only, and unfortunately the breakfast buffet food was cold. We did not complain as the staff were working hard against difficult conditions. We enjoy this hotel and often visit.

The recent refurb on this hotel is wonderful. The bedrooms have been tastefully furnished, all the meals were delicious and the friendliest staff you could wish for, will definitely return later in the year

We found the hotel & staff first class. Hotel situation very good. Car parking is a small problem but once we gained a place we did not move the car until departure from the hotel. The reception was very helpful & very pleasant at all times. Breakfast exceedingly good. Evening meal a little disappointed. Supposed to be candle lit.We had to ask for a candle which was half finished after being taken fron another table. The wine waitress was haphazard. We did not like the wine drips being stopped by her fingers and not a cloth when pouring. This decided us to use other establishemnts for our other evening meals. Which was a shame. But we did enjoy our break and the hotel very much and would go back again. We did tell a friend while at the hotel how good it was and she booked in her family for a night and they also thought good value for money.
