The room was large and comfortable and our room overlooked Table Mountain. All the staff, the front desk, the housekeepers, everybody was friendly. I was actually sorry to leave. They were helpful and it was just a wonderful experience. Will stay there again when I do visit Capetown again.

Don't rely on the business center, there are only two computers that requre the purchase of an expensive internet card. The internet is slow and closes unexpectantly. Better to go across the street and use the internet services at the photoshop at a fraction of the cost and it has fast internet connections. The hot breakfast buffet is substantial and great! The staff was friendly and helpful.

WiFi internet connection is totally overprized and seems to be functioning poorly. Otherwise we are very satisfied.

Although the aircon didn't work in the first room they gave us, they changed us to another room right away. In general the rooms were fine, not too small and the beds comfortable. The bathroom was ok, but the shower curtain didn't do it's job and the floor would get wet with every shower. Breakfast was a nice buffet, although it could have been a bit more varied. The "business center"only had two computers and you had to pay to use the internet. In general the hotel was nothing special, a tourist hotel like so many others, but it was a good value for the money ($50 a night) and the staff was nice and accommodating. It is located downtown Cape Town and in 15 or 20 minutes you could walk to Waterkaant and/or the waterfront. Loved the town and its surroundings! Also, don't miss the restaurant Beluga..

The St. George's Hotel is very clean and has a great location downtown. The restaurant is amazing also! We had some of our best meals in Cape Town at the St. George's restaurant. Caleb the bellman was very nice and helped us book tours, find shopping, etc. I definitely recommend this hotel to those traveling to the Cape Town area.

A good and well located hotel that is in walking distance too much of the city. The staff were very helpful and also allowed us to get into our room early which was a big bonus after a long flight.
