The breakfast buffet was wonderful, clean, complete, and friendly. Configuration of the room was unusual. Loved the setting.

My Husband and I travel very often. This hotel had one of the most comfortable beds, and pillows that we ever had experienced! The hotel was clean, the service was impeccable and extremely friendly-but again we were in the SOUTH and who isn't friendly there... :) The Continental breakfast was great-even my picky toddler loved their belgian waffles that they had to offer. We had driven down from CT, which after 11 hrs of being in the car we just wanted to relax but check-in time wasn't until 3pm and we had arrived at 9am; however we spoke with the front desk and they accomodated us right away and allowed us to check in to our room- I can't say enough. If we ever re-visit (which we will since we have friends in the area) we will definitely be back to SpringHill Suites. You can't beat the price or their service!

I loved everything about this hotel: especially it's location and amenities. N/A First of all, I would normally disregard writing a review but the facilities, convenience, amenities and service were so superb, I had to say something! The room was immaculate and very attractive/comfortable. The service was extraordinary - especially the continental breakfast that was served that morning (unlike any breakfast I had experienced in a hotel - that was not charging for the food)! Priceline did an awesome job with this one!

Pros: - convenient area to both Pinehurst and Southern Pines - very clean, quiet, updated - large breakfast area with good selection of food each morning - friendly, helpful staff - room nicely appointed with sitting area, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, iron, etc Cons: - hotel hard to see from the road; poor signage, especially at night... we drove right past. Just remember that it's "across from the school" (which is well-marked), and you'll be OK. - the smallest TV I've ever seen in a hotel room - maybe 20"? if you like to watch TV in bed, you'll be disappointed. And it is placed against a wall between the sleeping / living areas...... I suppose so that it can, theoretically, be viewed from both areas. In reality, it's pretty much useless. We were really surprised by this, considering this is a Marriott hotel - they definitely need to get better TVs! Other: - we didn't use the pool, but walked by it to the car. It's actually on a deck that juts out into the parking lot. So if you are looking for a pool in a "relaxing garden setting", this is not it. - the mattress, although by no means old or worn, is on the extra firm side. We are used to the softness of memory foam, but this is just personal preference! All things said, it was a nice experience. We LOVED Pinehurst, and will definitely go back. But since we like to watch TV (sports), we'll probably look for a hotel that has standard 32"+ TVs.

It took us a while to find the hotel as we were traveling at night and the road is not well lit and the sign is on the small side. But, from the moment we checked in we felt welcome, the front desk was friendly, helpful and instructive. We checked in post 9 pm and when we asked for a recommendation for a local place to eat we were sent to a nearby great steak house - and they called ahead for us to make sure there was still time to grab a late night meal. Our room was spacious with two queen size beds and a very comfortable pull out sofa. In fact the room was a bit of a surprise, we weren't expecting it to be either as large as it was or as well appointed. The pool and hot tub weren't busy, didn't see small children here, could have been the time of year since school's still in session. The exercise room was small but nice (my daughter used it) and it seemed well lit with sunlight. The breakfast room was large and inviting, in fact there seemed to always be groups of people chatting around tables which added to the warmth of the place. I'm not a breakfast person but the offerings were extensive and looked very appealing - lots of folks seemed to be enjoying their mornings there. I would definately stay at this hotel again - there's lots to explore in the area!

Reasonably priced hotel with decent beds, pleasant staff and convenient location. Our maid forgot to clean our room after our first night there, but sent a nice note of apology and left a few treats for us to make up for it.

Large room. Comfortable bed. Great pillows. I have nothing negative to say about the room. The hotel was in a good location. It was very clean and comfortable. The room was large and the bed, bedding and pillows were extremely comfortable.

Pool. We asked two doubles and we were had a king and a pull-out. The hotel had overbooked double rooms and we were forced to endure a king and a pull-out.

Clean, modern facility. Friendly staff. Upon check-in, staff was very friendly. We were offered assistance on getting to the room and were asked if we needed any information on the local area. The room was easy to access, and it was very clean and well maintained. The hotel was quiet and relaxing. Although the complimentary breakfast bar had a limited selection, the food was fresh and the atmosphere was enjoyable.

It was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great. There was nothing that I did not like. We all enjoyed our stay at his hotel. It was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast offered a large selection of choices. It was conveniently located. It exceeded our expectations. I would love to stay here again.

Hotel is very clean. My husband loved the putting green on-site. Front desk clerk was not very friendly. I felt that she did not want to be bothered with checking us into the hotel.

Friendly, efficient staff, extremely clean room. N/A. This is an excellent place to stay. The staff were very helpful, genuinely friendly and caring as well as being efficient. The room was big, well appointed and extraordinarily clean. We were extremely pleased with our stay there, and would highly recommend it to others.

The room was nice and spacious, comfortable bed. Very quiet. The free breakfast was mediocre at best, staying there with my wife; they put us in a room with two small beds. While not perfect, this is a perfectly fine hotel, and a good choice for the area. The benefits (comfort, cleanliness, quietness) outweigh the negatives.

Convenient to everything. Lousy TV selections. Like to watch fox news not available at this hotel.
Date of Stay:

Very new, clean, & friendly staff. Nothing. When I arrived I was very pleased with the lobby & availability of coffee and tea 24 hrs. A day. When I reached the room I was amazed by the size of the suite. It is a very nice space, though the decor was somewhat dizzying. Overall, it is a wonderful value and the breakfast was great also.
