It was clean and the staff was very helpful. Excellent hotel for the money, close to shopping and casinos. It was very clean, somewhat spacious and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Not only was the hotel clean, spacious and in a great location, the staff was very attentive and kind, and treated me like a valued guest.I will definitely be back!"

Very large immaculate rooms. Absolutely nothing. It was easy to find. The rooms beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Hotel staff friendly and very helpful.
Date of Stay:
July, 2006
HBO did not work 3 out of 10 days. Difficult area to navigate. Pool is more of a kiddie pool. Limited dining options. Continental breakfast seriously lacking in quality and options.
Date of Stay:
February, 2009
Desk and lounge area in room. Location was a bit difficult to access. Hotel is one of several I have stayed in during visits to New London. Always satisfies my requirements.
Date of Stay:
December, 2008
Staff was friendly. Hotel was ok. They didn't meet my request as needed for more of a suite type room. Fashions were 70s. The only rooms available were handy cap. But were not so everything was geared that way. I will not stay there again. Staff was pleasant though!

The separate desk area was very nice. The breakfast area was too crowded. The gentleman at the desk were extremely friendly and helpful. There recommendations for restaurants and activities were excellent.

Staff, room, everything was excellent, especially the continental breakfast. Although there are stores close by there was also an abandon building. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable, spacious, attractive and welcoming. The pool area and lobby were both very nice. We were visiting Mystic and the hotel was located within minutes of everything, the Seaport, Mohegan Sun and Olde Mystic Village. They had made your own waffles at the continental breakfast, we along with other guests were excited about them! We had a very pleasant trip.

Very clean and friendly & helpful staff and nearby conveniences and seemed safe. TV reception poor. We had a short but pleasant stay here. Our room had all that was promised except for poor TV reception. Well kept areas, efficient staff. Convenient to restaurants etc. & right by the Highway.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. Breakfast food quality was mediocre. Overall, this hotel was great. The room was cleanly, and the staff was attentive to my needs. Breakfast could have been improved by stocking the breakfast bar with more food. For example, eggs and sausages were frequently unavailable.

Very close to the casinos, clean, comfortable and quiet with lots of amenities. The hotel shuttle to the casino only runs every 2 hours and ends early (around 1am). Save your money and stay here instead of the way overpriced hotels at the casino. The rooms are great - clean suites with fridge, TV, sink, etc. The free continental breakfast has real food (not just muffins and cereal) and the hotel staff is super friendly. Its only 15 minutes from the casino.

Bed was comfortable; room was very clean. Nothing. I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends or family. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was easy to get to and had attractions close by.

Room was bright cheery and comfortable, beds especially. No Kleenex. My wife has back problems, and the extra pillows, and comfortable bed was great. The desk attendant (El Salvadoran lady) was extra helpful, the indoor pool and hot tub were wonderful, the room was bright cheery and spacious. The kitchenette was great, well cared for continental breakfast, with wide selection of food. Shuttle to casino, and list of close restaurants and attractions were easy to find. We were very tired after touring NYC two days and Mystic Seaport, we were able to rest, in a bright cheery, comfortable room, very clean carpets, beds, sheets, bathrooms were very clean, price was great too.

The separate area was the perfect space for my 1yr old. Nothing. We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The room was perfect for people with young children, as there was a separate area for my daughter to go to sleep at 7pm without us disturbing her. We really liked the conveniences of having a fridge, sink and such right in the room.

The price, cleanliness and comfortable bed. Awesome. Nothing. This hotel was great, clean, and the beds were comfortable. Close to area attractions. The price was fantastic.

The staff were friendly. They let us check in before noon. When we got our room in the middle of the night they had gave our room to someone else. Although they gave our room to someone else they had another the same that they gave us. Therefore it was not a big deal. The restaurant staff were loud, talking about their personal lives where the customers could hear, they were also very slow. Food was good.

It was conveniently located to all attractions we were interested in seeing. Breakfast was good however they could change the meats up a bit and add fresh fruit -served sausage every day. We were very pleased with the hotel and staff. This was our honeymoon so receiving a Marriott suite hotel exceeded our expectations. We also enjoyed having the fridge and microwave as we traveled by car so we had brought perishable items. Upon arrival the manager offered to comp our shuttle passes to the Mohegan Sun Casino as a wedding gift - Nice Touch !!! That saved us $24.00 our first night plus we also received $10.00 off each of our dinners and a $10.00 bet for both of us as well. Any questions we had about the area, best attractions and where to get the best seafood were answered very nicely so we did not waste time or money. I would recommend Springhill Suites to anyone looking to travel the Mystic Connecticut area.

The amenities include washer & dryer, cookies on the counter, pool. Very, very difficult to find. This is a well run, excellently maintained hotel with friendly helpful staff. John and Clayton were especially good at giving us directions over the phone so we could find the hotel. Our second night we stayed at a nearby Days Inn and it did not compare to Springhill Suites. My granddaughters loved the waffle maker at the breakfast bar and will now continue to rate hotels against their stay at a Marriott. Best regards, Frances Godin

Nice free breakfast. Asked for king, got double. Front desk staff never informed me. Property is billed as 'Suites'. In actual its more of a wannabee. Room has unstocked mini fridge along with microwave and mini sink. Room had two double beds that otherwise comfortable, are too small for most couples. Tacky bed linens with stripes of lime and yellow. Nice fluffy pillows. TV does not face beds. Couch and chair consist of the cheapest furniture I've ever seen (Not even good enough for Wal Mart). Breakfast area a nice touch. Clean room but not up to my standards compared with most properties. I would not stay here again.
