The room was big and very comfortable. Staff at front desk and maintenance was always very helpful. I liked that they have a linen-lined duvet insted of blankets (I think is more higenic). Breakfast is complimentary and there is variety of foods and fruits. Parking is limited near the hotel premises but they offer free parking at the parking garage 2 blocks away. Opportunity to see small shops and restaurants. Wired and wireless internet in the room. Minirefrigerator, coffee maker and small kitchen fawcett in the room.

The Restaurant, Lavelle's is fabulous. Few parking spaces in the lot; parking garage is 1 1/2 blocks away in a neighborhood that has a park where a number of homeless people congregate. Lovely room, must use room card to get onto the elevator for good security, and a nice variety for breakfast. A good value for the money.

I have no trouble recommending Springhill Suites Fairbanks. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The staff was freindly and helpful. In room wireless internet and a well- lit useable desk with comfortable chair are a great plus.

Clean, new and can always count on professional, friendly people working there. Parking can be a problem but there supposedly is a parking garage nearby. I never used it. I decided to park on the street instead. Whenever I go to Fairbanks, I always stay at the Springhill Suites. It is clean and the personnel are always friendly. The rooms are nice and beds are comfy. Great continental breakfast too!

"Checked in, desk clerk too busy carrying on personal conversation with another guest to pay attention to us. Got to room and it was freezing. Turns out window left open and boiler being serviced. Clerk did not tell us & this lasted about 3 hours during which my young grandson and I froze. No offer of portable heater or a room that hadn't been chilled to outside air temp with open window when I questioned situation. No consideration on bill either after I complained. Of course, no manager on Sat to help."

"I chose Springhill Suites because of previous good experiences at other Marriot ""Suites"" hotels. I was not disappointed. The room was great. The hotel is just across the street from the Fairbanks Visitor's Center and the Chena River. Ask for a room on the ""front"" of the hotel for this view. On one night, we enjoyed a band concert in the park across the street. The continental breakfast was great - a lot of variety with plenty to choose from. . "

The security was excellent. A hotel key was needed to even reach the levels other than the lobby. The customer service was terrible and the whirlpool had brown scum floating in it. While I enjoy and trust the Marriott brand, I will never stay at the Springhill suites in Fairbanks Alaska again. The customer service was indifferent at best. The room was clean and housekeeping was excellent, but when we mentioned the scum floating in the whirlpool, the front desk staff did not do anything about it - not even offering an apology. When the remote to the TV. In our room broke, the night staff person was more interested in meeting with his girlfriend than in assisting us. While we were there, there were a couple of engaging staff that we interacted with, but for the most part service was not up to the Marriott standard.

Always love Springhill Suites and this one did not dissapoint. The restaurant could be improved but otherwise everything was great.

Friendly, great continental breakfast. Parking was limited. Great room, great view. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Continental breakfast was great. All in all a great experience.

Pool/Spa/ exercise room/laundry/card keys. I enjoyed everything. It would've been nice if it was not on the 1st avenue, too far from shopping malls. First time I stay in a hotel in the center of town. Otherwise it was very nice. Next time I want to stay away from traffic.
