Date of Stay: June, 2009

Our room flooded in a storm and the staff did not try to help at all. We had to go get our own new bedding from the front desk to replace our wet ones (4 hours after calling to request it be changed). We ran out of towels and toilet paper because the cleaning staff missed our bathroom....again had to go get it ourselves from the desk. The location was great, the rooms were okay when they were not flooded (still less than expected - below a Hampton Inn quality room), breakfast was decent, but quality service was at the bottom of this hotels list and it showed.

Great location. Hot indoor pool. Breakfast was not that great. The pool needed minor cleaning attention. The hotel was safe, clean, and well-maintained overall. The pool temperature was hot. So it was nice to be able to walk right into the pool without any acclimation. Usually, indoor pools are unbearable at most hotels, especially in the winter. However, the pool needed minor cleaning. Floating hair in the pool and on the deck was unsightly. The breakfast was adequate, but I believe an unexpectedly busy Sunday morning left the staff stretched a bit and some food quality suffered or was unavailable. The front desk staff was excellent. Free wireless internet was a plus. The beds were not as comfortable, plus the rooms did not have flat panel TVs yet. The rooms were quiet and comfortable overall, including the sitting and kitchenette areas.

The staff at this hotel was the best we have experienced. We had a group of 16 - 16 year old soccer boys and their families. We played soccer at a nearby complex and was rained out due to the terential rainfalls. We went back to the hotel, after we had checked out and they allowed us to use a room to clean the boys up and the use of their complimentary laundry service. We invaded their lobby with wet boys and their soccer bags. They greeted us with smiles, asked if they could do anyting for us and provided plastic bags for our wet and dirty items that would be laundered later at home. They were extremely accommodating and made this unpleasant situation pleasant for us allowing us to gather together as a team, gathering our wits without losing theirs -- and all with a smile and a gester of help. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience. We hope to see you again in the future! You're awesome!

I was visiting family in the area and have stayed at this location in the past. The location is great...close to many stores and restaurant's. The staff is freindly during the stay.

I liked the separated seating area from the bed. I liked the fridge and microwave. I liked continental breakfast, workout room, and indoor pool. The room could have been a little larger, as well as the closet space. The room was nice and clean. It was convenient off of interstate 40. The amenities were very nice with an indoor pool, workout facility and continental breakfast. I will stay here again.

The rooms were very clean, and the staff was very nice. It was nice having two tv sets in the room so my wife could watch her stuff while I watched football. Our room also had a fridge, microwave, and a small kitchen sink. Basically like a small apartment. One of the staff got off the elevator at our floor and held the door open for me to exit it with our baby in his car seat. I thought that was pretty good service. This place is also located close to all kinds of restaurants so at the end of the day you don't have to drive up and down I-40 looking for dinner. Next time I go to Memphis I will be staying here.

Very clean and no surprises

Location, close to restaurants and mall. Easily accessible from the greenway. The breakfast was disappointing. I was misled by the Marriott in the name. Although there was nothing drastically wrong, our overall experience was just not what we expected. The breakfast was very disappointing.

Went here 8/18/07 for a weekend getaway. Selected this hotel because it was a Marriot and was near the Wolfchase Mall and several other attractions, The room had cookie crumbs on the couch when we arrived and smelled a little musty. The room next door had a problem with the toilet and we could hear water running all night. The staff fixed it once but it started again later. The bathroom had been remodeled and was don very cheapley. Would not stay here again.

The hotel was great, the location was awesome. Close to the interstate and lots of restaurants and shopping. The only negative would be that they delivered the newspaper (USA Today) to our door each morning and they kept delivering it even after we told them we did not want it. The other thing is that the sink overhead light was about to go out and was not fully lit at times. We advised them of this also but they did not come change it. Probably because it would do it at times but not always.

Very comfortable rooms. No comment. This was a great hotel. The staff was very friendly. The only problemI had was the heater stop working a day before we left and we had to shorten our visit.

They compare themselves to like priced hotels.We stayed at Embessy In Huntsville AL and it was same price but 100% better in every respect. The cleaning service didn't clean room just made the bed. Mold on ceiling in bath, shelves falling off walls, carpet not swept, bathtub drains very slow and they are not 25% larger than same priced rooms. Would not recommend.

The Springhill Suites by Marriott was very comfortable, the room was very large. It suited all our needs adquately. The location was great, we were right next to the mall-- restaurants were in walking distance, every thing was just wonderful. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Good continental breakfast. Relatively conveniently located to the Galleria Mall. Overall I was satisfied with the place. Not anything serious to gripe about. I would recommend this hotel. Nice indoor heated pool.
