I went for a business conference and had a very short walk to location. Springhill Suites seemed to be in the middle of the downtown area which was very nice. The trolley was right outside the door and cost $1.00 to ride it. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Location is good. Uncomfortable parking, some noisy.

The check-in man had 'attitude' as soon as he saw we had booked through online travel website. We were given a disabled room (no separate sitting area, no bath tub). When we queried it, he said it was because the hotel was fully booked, however it was very obvious by the lack of customers during our 3 days that the hotel was far from booked out, in fact the breakfast room ususally had 3 or 4 occupied tables at a time, if that. This treatment ruined our experience in what was actually a very nice hotel.

Room had something that beeped ... no one could find it. Floor carpet was sticky. Very small TVs. Just not that great

Beds were comfortable, good location. Elevators slow, public restrooms on floor were locked, swimming pool needed cleaned. Room was very nice and beds were excellent. Staff was very helpful. Couldn't get any soda machines to work on any floors. The restrooms located on the floors were kept locked. The breakfast buffet was okay. A lot of things had ran out and they did not replenish. Overall nice place to stay.

Memphis as a whole is know for bad service. The staff at the hotel was very nice and accommodating. The location is great. Very close to Beale St. and downtown.

Location was great. View from window. There was a needle in one of the safes, one of the couches did not pull out, like you said, and the bed and living area were not separate like you said.

Staff was very friendly, great breakfast, good location to downtown sights. Rooms with even numbers have balconies with view of park. Internet service seemed a little slow at times. My husband and I stayed here with our three children for one night. Overall it was a great stay and I would be happy to stay here again.

The hotel was horrible it was nothing like the pictures on the internet. Room didn't look clean everything was old small out of date TV's furnature looked like it came from a garage sale. We had to change rooms at midnight because the tub was stopped up. Hotel offered no compensation. I wanted to cry when I saw that room. It spoiled the last night of our trip. I stayed at other SpringHill Suites in other states and they were beautiful. I really thought it would look like the pictures. Bottom line I will never stay at the SpringHill Suites in Memphis again.

I was impressed. Nothing particularly special or cultural.

SpringHill Suites was in a great location (5 blocks from Beale Street) and the room was quite nice. We could see the Mississippi River from out hotel room. It was easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The trolly is right outside the hotel if you prefer to ride and only $1. We were close the Beale Street but not so close that any noise reached us. I can see how closer hotels would be noisy. The music on Beale Street is amazing! We will definately go back when the weather is a bit warmer. They say that Rendezvous is the best ribs but since they are closed on Sundays we didn't get a chance to try them. I can tell you that Alfred's ribs are quite good. We ate there twice and were not at all disappointed!

The SpringHill Suites are in a very good location and have a trolley stop near the hotel. The rooms are very comfortable; the beds are soft and have plenty of pillows, and the room we were in had plenty of space. I would recommend the SpringHill Suites; it is a very nice place to stay that is also convenient for seeing the sights of downtown Memphis.

Location was right where the action was going on. Valet parking costs were rather expensive. This was a real nice hotel with a real nice location. The free breakfast was an actual breakfast and not just fruit or cereal. Rooms were spacious and really nice. Very good location as the trolley runs down backside of the hotel, and also very close to Beale Street.

Recently my friends and I visited Memphis. We go there often but it was our first time staying at this hotel. The hotel location was great. We were within walking distance of many things for us to do. The staff there was very friendly and I felt they helped to make our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel room was clean there was plenty of room for the four of us and we had a great time. The next time I visit I will stay here again. I have only one thing to say negative about this hotel. Let's keep in mind that it was Memphis in May and maybe it was a special circumstance but the parking situation was horrible. We valet parked and once we were done with Beale Street and returned to the hotel late night there were no parking spots for us. We had to park several blocks away and it was late at night. Otherwise the stay was great.

"Overall I was extremely pleased with the hotel. Location to sites of interest was good. Some of the staff was very polite, but other members were rude and actually hung up on me. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to see Beale Street in Memphis."

Real close to the trolley stop. The pool and spa were not working. Staff was very friendly, rooms were comfortable, and breakfast was very good. Pool and spa closed.

"The suite was very large and comfortable. The view of the Mississippi and the proximity to Beale Street were outstanding. Everything was within walking distance but for non-walkers, the trolley stop was right outside the front door of the hotel. "
