Seaview Hotel ExperienceA very well maintained Hotel in an excellent location within a Holiday Home Park just outside Skegness. We stayed for two nights in a double room. The Children stayed in a twin room. Both rooms were spacious and reasonably clean. The Food during our stay was very good and for the price we payed excellent value for money. I do feel that this Hotel falls down in the 'Customer Service' department as I have stayed in many Hotels and I can honestly say that this was the worst. We were ignored by both Hotel Staff and Hotel Management alike on more than one occassion which gave the impression that they did not want to be bothered with anything outside of their daily routine. The problem with this Hotel and the Staff is that they were not busy enough as we only saw a handful of residents throughout our stay. It felt like we were more of an inconvenience to them and thay couldn't wait to end their shift. Having said all of that I am used to dealing with people who are not happy in their work and would not be put off by this approach, in fact a lot of people prefer not to be fussed over and enjoy being left alone. Minor points include no napkins at dinner, no follow up during the meals, unable to add up costs charged to rooms, room key cards not working, room smell of tobacco smoke, thin walls, poor customer services, swimming pool is at the leisure centre some 200 yards away, fishing is chargable and poor bed making service. Positives include good food, excellent value for money, ideal location some 1/2 mile from Skegness, good entertainment, excellent views and well maintained surrounding park area. Hotel built in 2004 so is still in very good condition and looks like a 4 Star Hotel. Recommended as a very good value for money Hotel.

Really nice place to stay very welcoming, very family orientated great place to take the kids. Love the scenery as you enter the premises.Just a few things would have liked to be informed of the lower prices, also would liked to have been informed that there was a wedding when we arrived. Also didnt know we had to book for a table for food therefore had to leave the complex.The hotel rooms were nice and fresh although could have done with a hoover, and the plug in the bath didnt close.All in all a great time and will be coming back in the near future

One night stay.This was a one night stay but would stop again at the reasonable price which was offered. The room was very nice and comfortable. Nice bus service into Skegness. Would have been nice if breakfast had been offered at a more reasonable price. We might have tried it then. Bed was very comfortable. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone.

Southview ParkThe Hotel is vey good with excellent facilities similar to an American Resort Hotel. The only nit picking faults I could find were that the power points didnt work unless you inserted your Key Card in a special slot which wasnt explained by Reception and the shaver point was up a corner by the lavatory about four feet from the mirror which had no light over it

Perfect HotelJust stayed the one night and cant fault the place, couple of miles from seafront but on bus route, use of the park facilities a bonus which we didnt have time to use. Would definately stay again.

Tricky for my sat-nav but directions good. Food homely rather than cordon bleu - but well-cooked. Cheap internet. Ironing board. perfect for my needs.

The room itself was lovely - very modern, spacious and clean.Unfortunately it was directly above the function room - a fact we were not warned of on booking or on checking in. There was a function in the room with a live band which was very loud and went on until way after midnight.Needless to say we did not get much sleep until after 1.A real shame - spoilt an otherwise lovely stay.I would suggest that customers check if there are functions on or ask for a room at the other end of the hotel before booking.

on arrival the receptionist was happier to talk the the chef than check me in .the swimming pool is a 10 minute walk to the other end of the caravan park(it does not tell you this when you book in),in the restaurant the service was awfull after taking a while to decide the waitress then said \" oh jesus\" when we were not ready,and after asking for an early breakfast was refused this at 6.50 in the morning ,then a complete shambles on the payment side as we were charged in the morning and called later and asked to speak to our banks to get our pre authorisation money back-in all a nightmare stay away

Excellent hotel and the staff very friendly, room was very clean and well equipped. the hotel was very easy to find, the only thing i found to be wrong was swimming pool was a good 10 mins walk away on a caravan park as was the hotel, but don't let that put you off staying here, i would and am recommanding it to anyone. breakfast was good not a great deal to choose from but what was there was good.
