Gorgeous hotel, courteous and pleasant staff, breakfasts to die for, nice pool area. Not so central but that's fine as a caleche (horse drawn carriage is about 5 Egyptian Pounds into the centre, if you haggle you'll get it for 5EP otherwise it could be double or triple or more!) We had a side Nile view, you could only see a little of the Nile. It's VERY hot in May/June when we were there. A/C is excellent in the rooms. Internet isn't free, it's expensive at about €15 for a 24 hour pass but speed is generally fine. Overall a great hotel.

I have stayed at this hotel many times. The staff are wonderful and very very helpful and friendly. Sabri is front reception manager is exceptionally helpful. The standard of the rooms is very good and the rooms are given a thorough clean everyday with the bedding changed daily, towels changed twice a day. The food is very good with a wonderful choice of restaurants, Italian, Japanese, Middle Eastern, main buffet style restaurant there is also a snack type cafe (Lotus)that is open 24 hours, a pool snack cafe and you can order anything to your room there is an extensive room service menu. The restaurant staff, chefs and managers are also exceptionally helpful and accommodate any requests. The pool is very nice and next to the nile the pool staff and pool bar staff are wonderful and can not do enough for you, they work so very hard. I have had many wonderful holidays in this hotel and the number of visitors who return on a regular basis is a testament to the quality of the hotel the food and the friendliness of the staff.

Found the hotel absolutely beautiful but the staff very miserable and unhelpful also the worst food i have had during many stays in luxury. Food rates as 2 star only.

I would say it is the best hotel in Luxor, there is only a couple 5 star hotels in Luxor and and i have stayed in both. This is by far the best, i have stayed in this hotel several times and cannot fault it. Situated on the Nile and minutes away from the town centre.The rooms are spotless, well furnished, and the staff are very friendly and very helpful. The food is really nice and has several restaurants, My children are fussy eaters and have no problem there with the food. I have stayed at this hotel when in Luxor for over 5 yrs, and will definitely for years to come. Its like home from home.
