Good choice for BelfastFairly close to Belfast but only if you have a car. Big room, smallish ensuite. Parking available but if all rooms occupied would not take all cars.

Belfast treatCharming B&B located in residential area about 5km out of Belfast. Host could not do enough to ensure our stay was pleasurable and breakfast was of a high standard. The room was well appointed, comfortable and parking available in a safe manner.

I enjoyed my stay I found the room clean and tidy, with towels and soap already there. there was a seperate room for the shower and toilet. I was disapointed that the TV only had ther normal 5 channels and the TV in my room had the ablility to use DVDs. I was annoyed as I spent a lot of time in the room as I was in Belfast for a funeral and did not go out. I would have brought dvds with me if I had known. There is access to a PC were the internet is free to use, a good thing if you want to check you e mail. There is a large ASDA nearby to buy anything oif you need it, and if you want to have a drink in Belfast City Centre you will need to get a Taxi to and from the City. The service and breakfast was good and I felt welcomed, it was nice in the breakfast room as the other guests said hello and added to the feeling of welcome. Overall I enjoyed my stay and I wouold recommend it.

ReviewWarm welcome, even though I arrived veyr late, the room and bathroom were scrupuplously clean, the bed very comfortable. Breakfast the following morning was good (I only stayed one night).

Excellent room facilities except no shampoo in bathroom

Insufficient timeUnfair to write a proper review as I spent so little time here and breakfast was not available as I had to leave very early the next morning. The proprietor did offer to leave some cereals etc in the dining room for me which was a nice touch but I chose to eat on the ferry. The room was fine and I would stay here again if in the area. Not much within walking distance but managed to find a nice bar about 20 mins away.

Nice friendy place but the showers didn't work that well, water pressure was weak in 2 or our 3 rooms. If that doesn't bother you, then nice for a quiet stay.

Our room was warm, quiet and clean and the furnishings matched the Victorian building.The staff were friendly and helpful as were all the people that we met on our holiday.My partner's vegetarian option breakfast was not ideal as it was just poached or scrambled eggs instead of the sausage, bacon and black pudding that I myself enjoyed.It was a 'help yourself breakfast' for the cereals, grapefruit and fruit juice. Lots of toast and jam too!Internet access worked fine and there were newspapers to read each day.We were able to come and go as we pleased and we decided to stay for a week instead of the three days we had booked.Buses into Belfast were convenient and it was only £2.70 for a Day Rover type ticket. So we left the car at the hotel most days and travelled in and out by bus.Definitely on our list of hotels to return to.

Good quality guest house with friendly owner and staff, ideally located for local bus service into the city centre via Antrim Road, with the bust stop just a couple of minutes walk away. Taxi from the city centre takes about 10-15 minutes and costs about £7. Very quiet location. An added bonus - free internet access in the lounge / library. Please note, don't confuse this hotel with the nearby Somerton House Hospice on Somerton Road.

Hi ,when we arrived we found that we hadn't been booked in from Saturday,but from Monday, but they did manage to accomodate us for Saturday and Sunday night. The bathrooms are extremely small, and were not cleaned every day. The bedroom floor was not cleaned every day and the bed was not changed mid-week as I would have expected. There was no mattress cover on the bed to protect the mattress, so the sheets were straight onto the mattress. There were holes in the sheets. Tea making facilities were provided but the cups were dirty when we arrived and were not washed for us each day. Overall we were not impressed with this guest house.

Very nice hotel and good value for money. Bit of a walk to the bus stop but buses every few minutes to City from main road.

A very nice guest house located 5 mins in a taxi from Belfast city centre, which was just a £5 journey. The rooms were quite big and very clean. Unfortunately we did not get to have breakfast as it had been a late night before and none of us managed to get up by 9am! There is a very nice living room where you can go to relax, read the paper, have a chat and there is also free internet access in this room. The propiertors were very friendly and welcoming. All in all this is a very nice place to stay and good value for money. I would definitely stay there again

A no frills accommodation in a nice part of Belfast with excellent access to motorway network. You can treat the place like home and it has free WIFI connection !
