The Sole Castello is located on the outskirts of the city, and the city center is 1.5 km away. Two footpaths lead to it, or one can take a bus. The A18 motorway connects Messina in the north to Catania in the south, with Taormina in between, for those guests driving to the Sole Castello. The airport is named Fontanarossa and is in Catania, an hour’s drive away. Taormina is on the Messina-Catania line, with trains traveling frequently in both directions.
