We purchased a clubsofitel room which gives free breakfast afternoon tea and dinner drinks. Nothing really. From the moment you check in you are made to feel special. The beds are to die for, about six inches of feathers on base and a lovely duvet. Purchasing the Clubsofitel room is a great option with the free breakfast etc.

I would not stay at this hotel again the room was very small and stuffy. You could not open a window so you have to love air con.

The entire staff was very professional and friendly. The room although nice was a little small. Excellent. I would definitely consider a softie on my next visit when travel next.

We were very disappointed with the room as it was very small and faced a laneway. The rate was not cheap and we have stayed in other hotels where the standard room was of a much better standard. We will not be staying there again.

My husband and I were celebrating our 6th wedding anniversary and decided to stay overnight in a club room (our first night away from our 10 month old son). The room was beautiful, and we just loved the whole club lounge experience - with afternoon tea and pre-dinner drinks and nibblies. I would definitely stay in a club room again. It made our anniversary really special.

This a great Hotel which we have stayed in numerous times due to its central location and beautiful decor in the hotel which makes it more enjoyable to relax and embrace been in the City.

bit surprised there was no pool.

Beware the construction site directly opposite the hotel on Bligh St. They are not supposed to start jackhammering until 9am but it was more like 730am. The windows are not double glazed either. If you need to sleep in, or work from your room, insist on a room on the "garden" or terrace side of the hotel. Expect this to continue for at least 6 months from now, as the site is just a hole in the ground at present. My bed also stank like wet wool when I removed the duvet - appears that the underlay under the bedsheet was not fully dry when put on. So that needed changing. I like Sofitels , even if they are sometimes a bit expensive; I have stayed here before, but this stay was a bit disappointing.
