First of all, you know that when people from the American Embassy are staying there, it can't be bad. A lot better than I expected for the price I paid. My room, although not huge, was very tastefully decorated...first class with all the amenities. It's on a quiet tree lined street near a very upscale eating, nightlife and shopping area...Zona T (about 1 1/2 blocks away). Security is great and you would feel very safe there. Daduis at the concierge was kind enough to act as travel agent for me and arranged a flight and room in Cartagena for me. Very helpfull staff all around.
