Sofitel La DehenseQuiet location not far from central Paris i.e. Champs Elysee staff all freindly and helpfull. Beds in room were extremely comfortable and ideal after a long day walking along the River Seine....Would return tomorrow but will wait for next Bastille day celebrations which have be seen to experience the full spectacle............If arriving for first time get the Metro which is much closer 5 mins walk rather thean the RER train.........

Luxurious hotel once you are able to find it!Driving to the hotel was quite tricky and the directions not so clear to someone new to Paris and the french roads however once you arrived the hotel itself is an oasis of calm and luxury. The room was spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. Great views of the city especially on a clear summers day! The hotel is located in the midst of numerous office buildings and although it is a little away from the centre this is more than compensated for by the proximity of the metro stop and the luxurious rooms that really help you relax after all that sightseeing. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Would definitely go again!

A welcome surprise!I have stayed in a number of hotels in Paris and have always been disappointed with the size of the rooms (particularly when considering the price I have paid). The Sofitel was a welcome surprise. The standard room was a good size as was the en suite bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable (though I would not recommend it for anyone with a bad back!) and hotel service / room service was impeccable. As I was staying merely as an overnight stop before heading to the airport, I did not get out into town, so I am unable to comment on the hotel's proximity to the local attractions - but according to the description - the Champs Elysees is only 5 minutes away. I would definitely stay at the hotel again.

To call this a 5* is nonsense. Small bedroom, very tatty, torn curtain, stained carpet. Basic bathroom with chipped ceramic tiles. Very expensive food and drink in an area off the lobby. Dining room only open to corporate events. It is worth knowing that this hotel is in the middle of a concrete jungle ( the business area ) which is not only ugly but dead at night except for a few dodgy winos. Even taxi drivers can't find the place.

Although a little 'out of town' an excellent hotel with freindly helpful staff and clean and comfortable rooms. We requested an additional bed for a child and this was immediately done.
