We stayed New Years Eve 2008, us and another couple. We were both so pleased with everything. The staff at the front desk was so pleasant when we arrived and checked in. The rooms are beautiful and very modern. The beds are so awesome!!! It is definitely the nicest and cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at. I would reccomend it to others and can't wait to stay again myself.

I recently stayed at this hotel while on a weekend getaway to Minneapolis. The staff are very friendly, the gym is modern and the rooms are exceptional. The beds are very comfy and the rooms are always clean. I was nothing short of impressed with this establisment. The Sofitel is money well spent and I would definitly stay there again.

What a great hotel! They made all of us feel so relaxed. The special service extended to our daughter in the cafe was the icing on the pastry. Beautiful duvets and great rooms! The restaurant is fabulous and we hated to leave.

Hey honey, let's celebrate your birthday! So we did and we got away for a 3 day 2 night stay. Surrounded by elegant modern day fixtures and a bartender who perfected her mixtures. From spacious rooms to romantic showers to personal flat screens or patios decked out in flowers. We enjoyed every moment and could not pull overselves away that afternoon. All I know is that we loved Sofitel and can't wait to go back real soon.......we miss you sofitel

Great hotel that is very pet friendly and with no additional fees! The staff is amazing and nice. The pastry shop is a real treat for a hotel. I enjoy this hotel with a little taste of Europe.

The two most important things to me in a hotel is that there is a comfortable bed, and that they have a decent fitness center. They exceeded my expectations for both. The bed was excellent - very plush and comfortable. The fitness center is not elaborate, but they have a small free weight area and enough treadmills and other fitness equipment to meet everyone's needs. For the quality of this hotel, the price is very hard to beat.

My wife and I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. We were treated to a very well appointed room and the most comfortable feather bed. The hotel is completely non-smoking which eliminates the stale smoke smell that may be experienced even in non-smoking sections. The food, the service and the professionalism ranks among the best. We wouldn't hesitate to stay with this hotel again.

You will enjoy the great service ( front desk, lounge wait staff, turn-down service at night) as well as the beautiful and relaxing decor of this motel. My husband and I spent two days there in August and loved the pampering we received.

I have stayed in nearly all of the upscale hotels in Minneapolis and Sofitel has been the best.I stayed in one of the superior rooms for two nights. It was very comfortable. The beds and the shower are to die for. I would prefer a locking bathroom door, but it wasn't a big issue for me. Staff was extremely helpful and polite. A short drive to downtown attractions and no charge for parking (that's how the downtown hotels kill you)"

High level of attention to guests. Watched a manager touching base out in the lobby with each guest coming from their rooms for a couple of hours one morning. The food is great. Ordered an ounce of Wisconsin cheese for almost nothing ion the bar and it came with bread, butter, grapes, strawberries.

We loved the hotel. Everything was first class. The only complaint was the comforter on the bed. It could have been 20 degrees in that room and the comforter would have still been too heavy. The beds were very comfortable - the bathroom was huge. They had a very nice gift shop - prices were a little steep but they had a great variety. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sofitel and will surely return.

this hotel was one of the best i have ever stayed in. the staff was so friendly, the room and the bathroom was immaculate. the two restraurants were wonderful. the location was very convenient, only 6 minutes to the mall of america. i have already recommended this hotel to other friends and family. thanks for a great weekend.

We were in town to celebrate our anniversary and to go for dinner, a concert and spend the night. Our experience was very good if we don't include the key card that didn't work, the rather 'cool' desk clerk, and the credit card that didn't seem to be able to make work. (We called the credit card company and they said there shouldn't have been a problem.) Very spacious and comfortable room. VERY comfortable bed. Loved the down duvet! Lots of pillows. Very quiet. The staff in the bar and restaurant were very nice and friendly. There is no shopping within walking distance. Convenient if you're moving around by car.

The Sofitel was an amazing experience. The night I arrived I checked in after 11pm. The staff was friendly and helpful. Limited room service was available after midnight for which I was very grateful after a long day of flying. I loved the bathroom, with all the little extras, including a bathrobe. The bed was so comfortable that I had trouble sleeping when I returned home. I wish I could have stayed a few more nights! The only downside was the difficulty of accessing the hotel from the freeway.Overall, an excellent get away.

This hotel is a wonderful stay, both in quiet and in amenities. The food is exquisite...and while it is a bit more than average fare in cost, it is superb in taste and presentation. The staff bends over backwards to be helpful and are most accomodating. The location makes for perfecting shopping, eating, and just traveling in the area. I've stayed twice and each time is consistent in quality and enjoyment. I highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful through out. Rooms have slowly become date, but still maintain the class and elegance originally intended. Staff is very friendly and professional. Quiet and the food is excellent. A wonderful experience for a business travelor or romantic getaway. The room is relaxing and inviting.
