Lodge very clean and near slopes. Parking is very limited. It had all the amenities but the cleaning staff did not clean everyday.

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel at Snowshoe and I can guarantee that we will never stay here again. We had no hot water - we each took a short shower and when we complained, the staff could have cared less. I would not recommend staying here unless you enjoy taking cold showers after a day's worth of skiing. The staff is inadequate at best and the hotel is very tired (read, circa 1980). While I understand that I was in a "resort" area, I do expect more when spending over $100 a night and the hotel was not even full (it was during the week). Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

I stayed at Silver Creek in a 1 bed with loft for 5 people. It was very clean and spacious. Be advised -- if you think you might need extra blankets, to bring your own. We called for extras for the pull out couch and the blankets were stained and dirty. We arrived at 9:30pm on a Friday night and the kitchen in the only open restaurant was closed already. Other than those two things, our stay was very pleasant. Cable tv in every room, beautiful view, shuttle right outside the door. Great ski/snowboard experience, will definitely return.
