I booked this at the last minute, and was pleasantly surprised at how nice everything and everyone was. I was checked in by one of the owners, and walked to my room. The grounds are awesome...very mature landscaping, giving the feeling of being at a retreat. The room had a very nice feel to it, with comfortable furniture and the bed was great. They had Wi-fi so I could catch up on my work, and a nice flat screen TV to watch. Overall, I would definitely recommend this property to anyone, as the location is outstanding, the grounds relaxing and the staff accomodating beyond belief.

My girlfriends and I checked into the Smoketree for a getaway weekend. We had a fantastic time here! The rooms were beautiful and spacious, beds super comfy & great linens. Convenient mini fridge in room. Lots of trees, flowers, views of the mountains, very peaceful. The staff was friendly and definately made our night even better with a complimentary happy hour by the pool! Best of all we were surrounded by great shopping- we definitely will be back!

I stayed at the Smoke Tree Resort on a stopover for a trip I was on, and I was pleasantly surprised at this hidden treasure. While the restaurant is still under construction, I checked in with their very friendly staff, and was given a room that was unbelievably comfortable to relax in. The grounds are among the most relaxing I have ever seen, and the staff was very helpful in providing some recommendations for dinner and entertainment options. The rooms are very well kept, and I cannot wait to get back here for a longer vacation next time. Great job on the renovations and keep up the great service!

We've been going to the Smoke Tree Resort every year for over 10 years and can't wait to get back. The property is a wonderful oasis with 26 rooms located spaciously on 5 acres. Large trees and beautiful landscaping give this property its unique charm. The rooms are stylish and very comfortable. We love sleeping in and then hanging out by the pool which offers plenty of sunshine and shade to accommodate everyone. The owners and staff are incredible and will do anything to help. Thank you for a wonderful trip. We can't wait to see you next time.

I just returned from my stay at the SmokeTree Resort in Paradise Valley/Scottsdale. The resort is small and very nice. When visiting Scottsdale for work, normally I stay at the Plaza Hotel in Scottsdale, this time, I decided, based on the reviews, to try the SmokeTree. I found the resort just great. I think it is only about to get better once they open the restaunt REM, when I was there, the staff said it was due to open in July. The pool area is very quiet and there are these huge trees all around. All of the rooms, I think there are 32, face onto the pool. The resort reminds me of a small resort I visited in Minisota each summer when I was a child. My room, #27, had a small wet bar area that included a microwave, coffee maker, sink and refrigerator. Just what I needed. My room looked like it was just renovated, the bed was the best ever! What I really enjoyed was the fact that my room was like a suite, there was a door that devided the bedroom from the living room. I think all of the rooms are large and have a living room. During the late afternoon, I would sit on my patio and just watch all of the birds and bunny rabbits, very quiet. I look forward to making the SmokeTree my regular place to stay. I recomend the resort for anybody that is tired with the traditional resort hotels in Scottsdale. Best location, clean, quiet room, nice family staff.

The Smoke Tree Resort was soooo comfortable and such a wonderful location for our Arizona vacation. The owners/staff are exceptionally accessible and bend over backwards to help visitors. The place is charming and we are discussing making an annual trip back to the area and the Smoke Tree is the place we will stay. Thanks to them for making this one of the most special vacations I have ever had. AWESOME
