Smart City Hostels Edinburgh

Smart City Hostels is a stylish and modern 5 star hostel located just off the Royal mile in the heart of Edinburgh city centre. Only minutes away from all of the major attractions including the Castle and Holyrood Palace, as well as close proximity to all transport links.

The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious with en-suite facilities. All towels and linen are provided free of charge. We have private rooms for couples and families as well as larger dorm style rooms for groups so there really is something for everyone.

Bar 50 is open from 8am till late serving a full Scottish buffet breakfast for a fee as well as quality food and drinks throughout the day. We cater for large groups providing buffet lunches and dinners, packed lunches are also available on request.

Bar 50 also showcases all the latest matches on Sky Sports and ESPN on wide screen TV’s, has a pool table, a wifi console and an outdoor heated smoking area and roof terrace. We have state of the art internet access with Skype as well as phone charging facilities.

The hostels 24 hour reception assures our guests security and flexibility, there are no curfew. The friendly team have extensive local knowledge and can book reduced price tours and priority passes for many well known Edinburgh attractions.
