A week-end in July with my sisterThe Sloane Square Hotel was chic and very efficiently run. Our twin bedded room was quite compact, especially the bathroom, but nicely decorated. The best thing about it was its location because it is a short stroll to the shops, a few stops on the tube to Leicester Square etc and it only took us about half an hour to walk to the museums at South Kensington. The hotel was happy to look after our bags before and after we checked in/out so we weren't carrying all our belongings around for two days.

Location cannot be bettered and transport links good. The hotel interior is very stylish and comfortable but my single room did not function well as somehere for a woman to stay. It was a good job I did not have much luggage since there were no drawers in the room save one occupied by the Bible and there were only 2 hangers in the wardrobe that allowed a garment longer than a shirt to hang freely. The bathroom was dim and atmospheric but no additional lighting near the mirror so it was a problem applying make-up in the morning and the shower control was too stiff for me to operate. Still the positives outweigh the negatives.

A great hotelVery well located on Sloane Square with a 10 to 15 minute walk to Harrods, Harvey Nichols and two minutes to the King's Road. Our room was compact, but larger than those of other hotels in the area we have stayed in. The air conditioning was great in the room very comfortable (outside temperature up to nearly 30°C). The breakfast was fine, but there are lots of places to eat nearby, try the Saatchi Gallery! The staff were helpful and pleasant. We booked relatively at the last moment so the rate we paid was fairly full, but even if I had to pay this rate again I would return.

We love the hotel location, frendly staff, very clean, nice toiletries, excellect food, breakfast and cocktails in the Brasserie. The rooms are a bit small.

Sloane SquareThis is a classy place. The customer service is excellent, the decor is wonderful (there is an orchid in the lobby that must be about 7ft) the rooms are lush and well decked out. If you get a room with a view over the square itself it's tempting just to sit in the window enclave and watch the world go by. I didn't take anything out of the mini bar but to be fair the mini-bar and room service were both well priced. Neither did I have any food, my rating of the food refers to the bar cocktails which were excellent (only the second place in Brition I have found that makes a good Vesper). As for value for money, I got the room at a big discout through laterooms, but the hotel does have the panache to deserve its full prices.

Nice hotel in an excellent location. The decor of the hotel is modern and fresh. Our room was probably one of the biggest. The bed was very comfortabel with nice white bedding. The bathroom had an over the bath power shower. Everything worked and staff were friendly and service minded. Good value if booked with Late Rooms.

This hotel is ideally located near a tube station, bus stops and a taxi rank. Good access to shopping. Good quality of service, room, cleanliness, etc. The only thing which let the hotel down was the poor breakfast: very slow service, staff in some disarray, the English breakfast tasted of cheap quality and was badly cooked ie bacon overcooked, sausages pink and undercooked. I did not have time to stay and discuss the matter because the breakfast took so long to be served. I will stay there again and hope this was just an off day.

Excellent hotelOne only negative thing: the hotel exchanged the rate into euros while the price was agreed in pounds and the exchange was very negative to me.

This hotel is beautifully decorated and is in a brilliant location, by far the best location i have stayed in London and I have been many times. I will most definately stay at the Sloane Square again. The only negative I would have is the size of the rooms, I loved the room as it was cosy but when you have two people trying to get ready for an evening out it is a bit of a challenge! Also the shower in the bathroom is useless, really small and impossible to wash your hair of shampoo if your like me amd have long hair.

From past experience, I do not have particularly high expectations of London hotels, but I was really impressed with the Sloane Square Hotel. We booked a Deluxe room which overlooked Sloane Square, which looked beautiful all lit up for Christmas. The room was not large but really attractive and had everything we needed. The bed was really comfortable, and the room was pretty quiet considering we were at the front of the hotel. An interesting selection of minibar snacks - the chocolate biscuits were divine! I would definitely stay here again. We got a good price from Laterooms and I felt it offered great value for money.

Bedroom is so small I almost stepped into the single bed when I opened the door! Bathroom and shower OK, but not enough room to sit on the toilet, unless you sit sideways!

Took advantage of an excellent wekend rate of £129 per night for a double. Was upgraded to a Superior Room on arrival but would not have known as the room was pretty small but aren't they all in London?! Nevertheless the room was very clean and well appointed and I have no complaints whatsoever. Certainly value for money and ideally situated.

The hotel has an excellent location just off the King's Road, overlooking Sloane Square opposite Hugo Boss. Secure parking is available by contacting the reception in advance, this cost £30. The hotel is very clean and stylish. The rooms are on the small side, but well laid-out with nice furnishings. We didn't have any complaints. The bar and Chelsea Brasserie restaurant looked very nice, but we didn't eat there. There are plenty of bars and restaurants along the King's Road.

Fantastic hotel, very helpful staff and food at brasserie was superb. Rooms excellent and nothing was too much trouble for staff. Excellent value for money and the little extras like keeping baggage once guests have checked out is very useful if you dont want to carry all your baggage around London. Price very good and reasonable. Will definitely be staying at this hotel again
