Possibly one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in during several years travelling the UK and world. Sleeperz tries to conceal the fact that it offers little more that a bed squeezed into a tiny un-soundproofed box by dressing it all up in a trendy, functional but non-comfortable style. The location may be good but that's about all. Take my advise - book somewhere else. This place is rubbish.

Great place small roomWe had nothing but good comments about the hotel except for the small room. It was a twin room and had bunk beds.

Expensive and hungryI booked 2 nights at Sleeperz to coincide with the cricket and I expected more for £130 per night than a box room and a wet room with no hot food left at breakfast at 9.10 a.m. I requested more hot food but was told that it would take 15 minutes !!

Great value and locationExcellent hotel in a fantastic location - ideal for a business visit to Cardiff. Comfortable, quiet room close to the station and a short hop from the city. Would stay again if visiting Cardiff on business.

Pleasant hotel, very convenient to the station. Despite being so close, there was no noise from outside. Rooms are compact but sufficient for an overnight business trip.

The hotel was extremely convenient being so close to the main railway station. The room was very clean and comfortable with a very efficient air-con unit. The range of food at breakfast was very good. Overall the hotel was very good value for money.

room very comfortable (superior double) & clean- a bit pokey - had to work on bed and Tv only visible from top end of bed. amazingly quiet as the trains were almost under my window. Good breakfast though cooked bits a bit dry. I visit Cardiff quite often and shall probably stay there again

The Ronsil Hotel - Does exactly what it says on the tinClean, tidy, easy to find, idea for concert goers! All the usual stuff. would use again for a one off night where clean and dry is the order of the day!Rooms are \"compact\" but like I say above the room fit the bill perfectly for my needs. One thing I will say is the receptionists were very good. Chatty and polite. Well done!

A hidden gem ... Quite difficult to find, particularly given the major roadworks which are being undertaken in Cardiff at the moment, but well worth it.We chose this hotel for its proximity to the Millennium Stadium and it was just perfect - a five minute walk. Parking is available at the nearby Wood Street NCP for £12 per 24 hours - can't grumble about that for city centre prices. The hotel feels very new and is very clean. It's modern and has everything you could ask for .... except privacy maybe! The rooms are small (but not too small) and the bathroom is sited off the main room, divided only by a sliding glass door. Now, I love my partner to bits, but I'd rather have a wee in private and, equally, I don't want to see him carry out his oblutions!!Other than that, fab. The hotel is close to the central train station (but completely blocks out the noise!) and bus station, so brilliant for public transport too.The buffet style breakfast is nice too with organic yoghurts and milk, local bacon and declicous pastries and a definite bargain if you book when you check in - when the price is reduced from £7.95 to £5.95.Enjoy!

accomodation for 1 night as attending OASIS gig at Millenium StadiumExcellent location, but not impressed that usual prices are £55 - £75 with breakfast. Stung us for £125 No breakfast just because it was an event weekend, this doesnt seem reasonable at all

Book the breakfast!Breakfast was the highlight, otherwise about what you'd expect.. clean, tidy, friendly staff but small compact well thought out rooms.Do yourself a favour & have the breakfast (but make sure to book it the night before to save some cash)

Right next to the station but no railway noise which was great. My husband described the breakfast as one of the best hotel breakfasts he'd had in some time. Really enjoyable stay.

So near the railway but so quiet - really!Excellent value. Charming staff. Interesting architecture and clever/ fun use of space in quite a small room. Air con - thank goodness. Very clean (in fact spotless) and lovely comfy bed. Don't be put off by being so near the railway - as it was really quiet!! Truly. Only criticism was beakfast - restaurant fine/ modern with so much glass and watching passers by BUT so hot in there that we couldn't stand it (may have been air con but not switched on). Plus bacon etc. shrivelled (and no smoked salmon as advertised). But all that said we'd stay again - but not have breakfast!

Good,Clean Simple HotelStayed two nights and was on the whole very impressed. Simple, small rooms however space had been used effectively and as such you didnt feel cramped. Hotel staff where helpful and polite and service was prompt. My only negative was that the construction of the wet room had been poorly thought out as very little water drained from our shower and instead collected for two days on the floor. The location is ideal for exploreing the town and only 50 meters walk from the station.
