Date of Stay:
July, 2009
We went to visit Mystic seaport & aquarium as well as Ocean beach. The hotel was approximately 15 min drive from both areas. Convienient. Indoor pool was a plus since the weather was a little cool for July 4th. The beds were smaller than expected(full size) and the rooms were small. For the short weekend it was fine. The room was clean and the view was very nice in front of the hotel. The continental breakfast goes fast . It could have used a waffle maker which would have been perfect! The staff assisted with local restaurants and directions.

The breakfast could have been better like some eggs bacon.

King sized bed was good quality. Room neat & clean. Were able to check in a few hours early on a Sunday. Continental breakfast had better variety than expected, with fresh fruit included. Small safe in rooom for valuable, too.

This hotel was very easily accessible from Route 95 and Route 395. The room itself was very nice, HOWEVER, the coffee pot had not been cleaned from the previous guests (certainly made us wonder if EVERYTHING else in the room had been cleaned....) and there was no refrigerator in the room. Almost all hotel/motel rooms seem to have a small refrig in them. I guess we just EXPECTED there to be one.... Because we were there for a couple of days, it would have been nice to be able to keep soda, beer, doggie bags, etc. cold. Instead, we had to keep refilling our cooler with ice. Also, while the continental breakfast was good and offered a big variety of items. We probably WILL stay there again because it is convenient to the Waterford Speed Bowl - but ONLY because of its convenience NOT the value.

Good location. Seemed cheap and room smelled sour. Not bad for the money.

horrible room for the price. and not that close to the casino.

the proximity to Mohegan was excellent. Easy to get on and off the highway. A little lack in local restaurants for breakfast so be sure to catch their complimentary fare.

The continental breakfast. Check in at four pm, check out at eleven am. People where friendly, met basic needs and clean.

We stayed there for one night over the 4th of July. It was a very good value for the cost. Very clean, friendly staff, breakfast was fine.

Quiet, particularly since at a trade show and needed rest. Convenient to conventions center and quiet vs. strip hotels. Good.

We counted on the continental breakfast to keep our expenses down but the food was terrible. The juices were either water or concentrate, the coffeee was weak, there was no butter for the toast, the minimuffins were right out of the refridgerator. We had four people in our party and we only had two usable pillows for our 3-night stay. We asked each day if there were extra pillows available and were told no. Once we were told that they had three rooms they couldn't use because they were short of pillows.

The area it is in. The rooms were small & no luggage stands. The breakfast was nothing to good. The location was great. We were glad we were in the back I bet it would be very noisy with a front room.

Friendly staff and extended pool and gym hours. Room was small, small fridge in room was filthy and in disrepair.
Date of Stay:

It was close to Mohegan sun and fox woods casinos. The room was freezing, frigid draft coming from under ac unit. I stayed here before and was satisfied. This time I was disappointed, our room was frigid all night and no one was able to help us or offered to switch our rooms. I would not stay here again.

The staff was friendly. The continental breakfast was poor, and the heating system was too noisy. Although the staff was friendly, the overall experience was not great. The continental breakfast had no bagels, no yogurt, no peanut butter. The bananas were black one day, and not available on one of the other days.

September, 2006
Nice pool, very kid friendly and shallow. Some staff were very nice; others were somewhat rude. The hotel was nice; good for a quick stay but not more than a couple of days. Bed was O.K., but nothing special. No decent food nearby and it was farther from the attractions than they said they were. Not bad for the money, though.

The staff responded very quickly to any requests we had. No refrigerator or microwave in room, they have them but charge $10. The hotel was very clean and hotel staff very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for our needs and was close to Mystic Seaport and both casinos. Excellent seafood rest. down the street. Definitely would recommend and would stay again.

It was quiet ,clean, and it offered a fitness room and pool. I liked the hotel. I wish it was closer to the shore and seafood restaurants I thought It was nice. It was cozy and the staff was friendly.

Pretty quiet area. Was able to sleep late. This hotel is in a nice location and convenient to major highways. The room is small but adequate and only has a shower which was fine for me and my family. The continental breakfast is also adequate and has fruit, muffins, cereal, beverages, etc. I would recommend this hotel to others. It's very adequate and reasonably priced.
Date of Stay:

Good value for last minute travel over holiday weekend. Within 1/2 hr from all attractions. No (absolutely none) water pressure during peak morning hours. Convenient locations off of 95. Newer hotel, helpful staff. Small continental breakfast.
