Sleep Inn University is a simple, straight shot to Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre. Rooms are small, fairly standard discount fare- Shower, no tub, small desk, microwave. 24 hr. coffee pot in lobby, wireless internet. Clean, but showing a little wear. Check in fast, friendly. Small, clean outdoor pool. In room coffee maker. Good for a no frills night near the U or Verizon amphi. Behind Shoneys, few blocks to I85, several restaurants within 1/2 mile.

It's okay! Very bad smell all over the hotel. Very bad, I will not stay in a Sleep Inn again.

We were extremely happy with the cleanliness and the friendly staff. The hotel provides wireless access and even have a single computer in the lobby for customer use. Surrounded by plenty of resturants within walking distance. Great Stay.

The Sleep Inn University Place was very nice. The rooms were alittle small but the breakfast was very good. The staff greeted us every time we came or went and they had snacks in the front desk every day.

We liked the location. The room was very small. Small rooms, but was a clean bed and hot shower. It was all we needed. The location was good.

All of the staff were very courteous and helpful in giving directions and where places of interest were. The room is comfortable and clean and well maintained. The breakfast selections are wonderful and a large variaty. The location is good as it is close to the interstate.

Looked clean and modern. Allnight, could hear others talking as they passed the room. Good location, clean. Continental breakfast was okay - didn't have fresh fruit available.

The rooms were very clean, had a microwave and mini frig. Shower was big. Great waffles for breakfast. Staff was friendly. This hotel was very close to UNCC and was very easy find. The pool is out the side door and around the corner.no access from inside the hotel.We will be back stay alot until graduation from UNCC.

Continental breakfast was much better. Sausage-egg-cheese muffins, hash browns, etc. Nothing. Nice lodging and good value. Friendly staff. Very nice continental breakfast.

Our room was very clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. Even nonsmoking hallways stank of tobaccco smoke, and the room was a bit cramped.

Clean nice. Beds weren't queen-sized. Breakfast was pretty decent, although the hotel needed more room in the dining area to accomodate all of the guests. The room was nice and clean; just a little smaller than expected. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great location. Shoney's and burger king right next to hotel.

Conveniently located to attractions and shopping. The room was in need of minor repairs. This hotel is close to everything in the University area (the main reason I chose to stay here). The staff was pleasant and the lobby was clean and well organized. The room was clean, but some grout needed repairing in the bathroom and there appeared to be moisture damage on the window sill directly above the AC unit. Otherwise, the room was attractive and I enjoyed the mini fridge and microwave provided. The room was also reasonably priced. I would stay here again.

Easy access, convenient. Vending machines limited. Overall hotel was nice; however, vending/ice machines were not on every floor and at the far end of those that it was on.

Good all around hotel for the price and location. We would stay again. The only issue we had was that someone had left the window open and the carpet was a little wet in that area. We really enjoyed it. We felt safe and didn't feel like we had to worry about our vehicle in the parking lot. The location was perfect for us since we were going to see a concert at the nearby Verizon Park, which is a short drive down the road. Nice staff and nice room. Huge shower. The only thing that bothered us was that someone had left a window open and apparently it had rained because the carpet was a little wet in front of the window/AC controls, but other than that it was a great room for a good price.

Have stayed at this hotel every time we travel to the Charlotte area. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are always clean. Continental breakfast is excellent. I recommend this hotel highly.
