Far exceeded every expectation. Would stay again and recommend to friends. Confused by the one star should be higher. The only bad thing was the water pressure in the shower which was barely more than a tinkle. Great hotel for traveling on a budget. Friendly staff, clean building, free breakfast with the room, not too far from the beaches (you need a car). All around a good experience.

Very helpful staff: directions, wireless Internet help, restaurant recommendations. No-hassle check in/out. Better-than-average room. Only problem was minor, a badly mildewed shower curtain.

They were friendly and worked with us. The hotel was fine. They charged us $35.00 for our dog.

Kids loved the breakfast, and it opens early. Nearby state-park beach (Cape Henlopen), Lewes are very nice. One bummer: the ""suite"" was just a big room, no door.

The staff was very helpful and the room was great. I have 3 small children and it was perfect for them with the pool and the breakfast. The room kind of smelled bad but it was a room that allowed pets. We were going to Cape Henlopen and it was just a few miles away, very close to restaurants and entertainment, and kid and pet friendly. The pool was really great too.

The room was spacious and the desk clerks were very helpful. There was a group of wedding guest and they took over the lobby (which was small) for a the better part of the afternoon. This was our first time in Lewes, Delaware and we were not familiar with the area. The hotel was nice enough but too expensive for what it was very difficult to get across the highway in front of it because there were many places that did not allow U-turns or left turns. The staff was very friendly but if I went back I would go during the week.

The pool. There was no shampoo, conditioner and no body lotion. Good.

The front desk person was honest. Only inside the hotel for 15 minutes. Our room was like walking into an ashtray (my husband has asthma, my son has allergies, and Delaware is a non-smoking state). We left immediately and never stayed for the nights we'd paid for. Too unhealthy for us and our kids.

The location and staff. The room was not swept very well before we arrived. There were rice crispiest on the phone and on the carpet. The room smelled like urine. I would stay there again next time in a nonsmoking room and take the children along. The friendly atmosphere and kind staff made our time there relaxing.

Nice big TV, many channels, relatively clean rooms, friendly staff. N/A I wasn't happy here at all. The room was small. There were only two pillows, no spares, and the desk said they had none (though they were finally able to scare up one more), they provided only one bath towel apiece, the A/C unit gave off an odor, so I tried to open the window, and it was fixed to open only 2 inches wide, and then there was no screen, so it let in the bugs. There were NO lamps in the room, incredibly!--only overhead fluorescent tubes. It might have seemed like a deal if they had charged $45, but at nearly $200 was robbery!

The floors were air conditioned as well as the rooms. Continental Breakfast area was very crowded and there were not enough tables or room to move around in. This hotel was very good for the budget minded traveler. The beds were a bit small for double/queen sized. I thought the hotel was O.K. for our purposes - a very short stay in a resort area where we only needed the room to sleep in. The hotel was not a resort hotel where we intended to spend lots of time at the hotel, etc.
