The room was okay. The gym was less than desirable with three pieces of equipment. Two of the three pieces were broken. I overheard the staff cursing asI passed. We were late arrivals and called ahead to make sure our room would not be given. We also inquired about the transportation from FLL airport. When we arrived the front desk then told us it was too late and we would have to get our own transportation. The front desk attendant continued to pester me about my children being too old for one room, although, they met the age requirement.

Six of us stayed here in one of the suites. Plenty of room for all six of us with the pull out sofa bed in the living room area. Liked the fact room had Fridge and Microwave in it. Location was good. Close to airport, cruise terminal, and great Mexican/Spanish eatery across the street in the shopping plaza. (We used the coupon that was in our room for this) There is a drug store right next door. So if you forgot anything there is a good chance you can just walk across the parking lot to pick it up. I know we did. Breakfast was above standard for a continental breakfast. Both hot and cold items were served along with fruits. Everyone in our party of six was able to find something they liked all 3 mornings we ate there. Staff was very nice and helpful with local directions. Will be staying there again in the near future on another exciting trip to Florida.

We stayed here for 3 days/nights. Our room was clean and comfortable. We ordered a non-smoking room and there was no odor of smoke. :) We had a great experience here. There is a great Mexican restaurant and Italian/pizza place across the street. If you stay here you will need to rent a car (or use your own) as we relied on public transportation which wasted a lot of time. Dania Beach (less than 2 mi. away) was a wonderful, non-crowded, clean beach with perfect water!

The gentleman at the front desk is very nice. He was there our entire stay. He even asked what floor we prefer and what side of the building we'd like. Our daughter (3 yr) found a new friend in the sweet woman who takes care of the breakfast (which was nice...fruit, cereal, make-your-own waffles which my husband loved) The Inn has a decent size pool and was nice an quiet when we stayed there. We got a great rate and loved the location (close to the beach and family whom we were visiting) The mexican place across the street is yummy as well as the little bar/restaurant (something and Donny's) in the same mall. Theres a Publix and Walgreens in walking distance which was nice as well. I loved the free parking since other hotels in the area charge $10 -$20 a NIGHT! We will absolutly stay again next time we are down visiting family.

Efficient staff, clean room. Front desk staff were helpful. Room was clean. The shuttle service saved a $20 taxi fare to and from Ft. Lauderdale airport. We would recommend this hotel for an overnight stay.

We stayed here for one night, November 20, 2008 before a cruise. We were picked up at the airport by the hotels shuttle van around 8:00 pm and taken right to the hotel (this service is included). The only minor complaint I have was the unfriendliness of the front desk, both at night and in the morning. However, I chaulked it up to the fact that perhaps they were overwhelmed as the hotel appeared to be quite full. More importantly, our room was spacious and very clean, a fact that is much more important to me. We asked about dinner, and was told there was a good Italian restaurant across the street (there was a Mexican one as well). The food was very good, and the atmosphere was just right to kick off a wonderful vacation. There is a Walgreen drugstore on one corner and a Publix in the shopping center across the street, in case you forgot anything. The location of this hotel is outstanding! The next morning we had breakfast downstairs which was included. This was not anything to write home about, but it satisfied us until lunch. At 10:30 the shuttle van took us right to the ship at no additional charge. We will definitely stay here again. This has got to be the best deal in South Florida!! Tip: Make sure you tell the front desk when you check in that you will need a ride to the port. Some people did not, and they had to get a cab at their own expense.

We decided to try this Hotel having stayed at one in Pennsylvania last summer. The check-in was speedy and the clerk was very friendly and professional. The room was spacious with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and iron with ironing board. The bed was comfortable with extra pillows. The hot breakfast buffet was above average with several juices, danish, muffins, creal both hot and cold, along with a wafflemaker. There was also oranges and apples along with the standard coffee and milk. The scrambled eggs were above average and they offered sausages and biscuits with gravy. Pool area was small with only 4 chaise lounges but spa was very relaxing. One downside was man cleaned the pool on thursday and it left a soapy residue which was still there on Friday. That is the only thing that needed improvement. Location was convenient to Rte 1 and Interstate 95.

The Sleep Inns and Suites was a very comfortable motel and is the ultimate spot to stay with regard to airport arrival and cruise departure.

I enjoyed the cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel employees were friendly and helpful. 1. Continental breakfast didn't include meats i.e. sausage or patties. 2. It was raining so lots & lots of mosquito's! Overall my stay with this hotel was delightful & I would visit again. Can't express enough the cleanliness of the rooms and the helpfulness of every employee I ran into. I would recommend to friends and family.

We stayed at this hotel after getting off the cruise so maybe it was just coming from being pampered, but I probably would not stay their again. The room was small and had a smell. Their business center had only one computer and you had to pay by the minute. The location was close to the airport. The breakfast was alright, nothing to get excited about.

We stayed one night before our cruise. The woman at the front desk was extremely kind to us. I have nothing but positive reveiws for her! The room would have probably been fine for adults, one night. Kids...on the other hand is a different story. The room was moldy smelling and the tub was yucky. It had the kind of rug you wouldn't want your kids sitting on. One child wanted to wear her crocs in the shower. The location was challenging for feeding a hungry family. If you have children, this isn't the right spot for you!

The Sleep Inn & Suites Ft. Lauderdale International Airport is worth considering for someone cruising out of Ft Lauderdale. The hotel's shuttle service between the hotel, airport and cruise port makes this hotel a very good choice. I was a little disappointed with the amount of time it took for the shuttle to pick me up from the airport in the evening, but the service to the port the following morning was very convenient. The continental breakfast was a nice way to start the day. The hotel was quiet and clean. Front desk service was very helpful, friendly and eager to make our stay enjoyable. There are also fine restaurtants and stores within easy walking distance.

Clean, functional, great Internet, great breakfast. I choose this property over Fairfield Inns in the area because it is nicer for business travelers.

My husband, three kids & I stayed here pre-cruise. I wanted a place that was a good value, had free transportation to/from airport & cruiseport with a pool and breakfast (we did not want to rent a car). This place met all those criteria. The free shuttle service was great. The breakfast is more than a continental breakfast. It was all self-serve but included oatmeal, bisquits and gravy and waffles - it was great! The website says the pool is heated but it is not. There are three restaurants across the street - Mexican one was excellent. We also heard the Chinese and Italian restaurants were good. There is a Walgreen's next door. There is a bus nearby to go to the beach although it is about a 1 mile walk. There is a supermarket and other restaurants within a 1-2 mile walk. It seemed like a mostly residential area and we felt safe. We would stay there again.

The first driving factor was that it was close to FLL, great value and allowed me in to get in and out quickly. Staff was great, room was comfortable. The biggest challenge was there was a long black hair in the tub (altho it has been cleaned) and one of the outside doors would not close properly. If these were fixed, would have rated higher. As mu business needs arise to make that quick trip to FLL, will use them again....will make sure on the cleanliness tho'.

Great location, 7 minutes from Ft. Lauderdale airport. Clean quiet room with internet access and good bed. Convenient to both Ft. Lauderdale and Miami via U.S.1 and/or I-95. In room pay-for- view not user friendly and didn't work in my room initially, but diverse and unlimited hot/cold complimentary breakfast (not goumet but filling). Also convenient and varied little shopping mall right across the street with superb mexican restaurant (with discount coupon in room for). Not luxurious but perfect for my needs and budget (online travel offered for less than 80/night). Would definitely stay there again.

The staff was amazing and friendly. We had a smoking room, which we booked due to price, however it smelled like stale smoke. Nice comfort hotel with a great staff.

Great location - close to airport and ship port. Lady in dining room was not very friendly. I was just there for one night and it was perfect for my needs. I would definitely recommend it for travelers between connections.
