The Sleep Inn Gettysburg was comfortable with a good-size clean room and the staff was friendly. They have excellent wireless in the rooms and the mattresses are comfortable. Coffee in the room is a plus. The breakfast however was less than desirable. There was very little choice in cereal, bread for toast and yogurt and the coffee was dispensed from a machine rather than brewed. We elected to go out to breakfast. Cleanliness in the hallways and stairs left a little to be desired. During our three-day stay, it was clear the stairwell was not inspected or vacuumed. It is near the intersection of Route 15, but beyond walking distance to Gettysburg attractions.

No smoking policy, comfortable rooms. Clean, comfortable rooms and the entire building is nonsmoking. Although 3 miles from Gettysburg is a very reasonable alternative to the other motels outside the downtown area.

We did not except this place to be very nice but, it was acctuatly one of the nicest hotels we've stayed in for a long time. The staff is very nice, the rooms are clean, alot of space in the rooms, the rooms smell good, and there pretty much only good things to say about this place. The only thing that could be better is the pool its kinda small but other than that this place is really amazing. I would definitly stay here again.

The Sleep Inn in Gettysburg, PA, was a new motel, so it was very clean--am important factor. It was also completely non-smoking. That was an enormous benefit for us. Unfortunately, we had some noisy neighbors. That is not the hotel's fault, but it does affect overall satisfaction.

Quiet and clean. No local newspaper available. Hotel was nice, close to restaurants and attractions but the pool was too small and they did not have a hot tub.

We checked into this hotel and were given our keys. When we went to the room, the keys did not work. My husband went back down to the desk and the clerk assured him that they should work. We finally got into the room and to our surprise, there was someone elses suitcase and personal belongings in the room. We went back down to the lobby and explained this to the desk person. He said according to his computer, no one should be in the room. When we asked if he would like to check it himself, he did not reply and did not even apologize or try to correct the situation. So we asked for our reservations to be cancelled and a refund to be made. He said since we made the reservations with online travel website , we would have to get a refund from them. When online travel website called him, he denied that we had made any reservations and didn't know anything about it. We were very disappointed with this establishment and did not think they were the least bit profressional in the way they handled the whole situation. If the people were physically in the room when we opened the door, it could have been a very embarrassing situation for all concerned. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

We found this hotel to be on the edge of Gettysburg but within 5 minutes of attractions. The room was clean. A minor problem with the room door lock was fixed promptly. The breakfast offered was not much but not too much was expected. There were only two handicapped parking spaces and they were constantly filled.

Convient to US 15 The breakfast foods were stale. The room I was in was on the higway side and the noise from the traffic was bothersome.

This hotel had only been opened a week when we stayed, therefore the rooms were clean. Other areas were not so clean. Things they were still working on needed cleaned. The pool is very small, not much bigger than a whirlpool and only 3 feet deep all around; our 14-yr old and his teammates were very disappointed. A few other baseball team families stayed here because of my recommendation. I was glad the whole team didn't stay, fifteen 14-yr olds wouldn't be able to swim easily. The breakfast was okay, it was all carbs and the hotel employees needed reminded to refill items.

Very nice basic hotel. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. Had little interaction with the hotel staff, but when we did it was prompt and very efficient. Hotel is out of the way from the National Military Park, but still it's only a 10 minute drive. Hotel swimming pool is very small, but it will accomodate a couple of families. Breakfast was modest and basic, but still plentiful. I would recommend this hotel to other people, especially families.

Good room sizes and amenities. This hotel was clean and comfortable. The rooms were clean and more than ample. The quality of the room and the hotel in general well exceeded the cost for the room.

The Sleep Inn in Gettysburg was quiet and clean. The location is good if you like to be out of the main tourist area. You have to drive to the tourist attractions but I view that as preferable to being right in the middle of them. I've stayed at other Gettysburg motels and since the battlefield gets a lot of groups of kids you can get stuck next to some very boisterous groups. This motel did not have any of that.

Staying at the Gettysburg Sleep Inn was easy and fairly convenient. It was a little farther from the battleground and historical areas than we anticipated. It is a clean hotel managed by helpful, friendly, unobtrusive staff. If you need a basic, no-frills place to stay in Gettysburg, the Sleep Inn should work just fine.

The Sleep Inn in Gettysburg was very comfortable and very clean. The room was much larger than a normal hotel room plus there was a wide screen television in the room. The hotel staff was very nice and willing to help. In my opinion, it was a great deal.

Very nice and clean. The pool was more of a waiding pool for children 3ft.deep and more than 12ft.by 12ft. Nice clean rooms, everything was fresh but then it's only been open for a year. Would stay again and comfortable place to sleep.

The one problem that I had with this stay was that the hotel staff never emptied the trash in the room in the three days that my wife and stayed there. Other inconveniences..... The breakfast area was too small and people had to eat in the lobby. The pool is very small - only about 10 feet by 10 feet. Certainly not big enough for an adult. The room was great though. Everything was new.

The rooms were relatively clean. The room smelled funny and the fridge made noise. Overall, while not a bad stay, this hotel would clearly not be my first choice to stay in Gettysburg again. The staff was nice and the rooms were clean, however the room and around the room smelled like it had been cleaned with a strong solution and it stayed that way for a day or so. The mini fridge ticked.

Price was good. Not as clean as it should have been. we found dead bugs in the bathtub. Ok, no great shakes.
