1st. Checked in but did not go to room...returned later to find room was given to someone else...got another room lower level only to be waken by construction on saturday morning. 2nd Poor parking and valet service...4 guys for two hotels...All and all price should be under 100 even with the great location.

Complimentary continental breakfast was great, very friendly staff, great location. Our toilet was leaking water, bed was too soft - good for some, but bad for my back. The staff went above & beyond, great location - walking distance from Beale St, complimentary breakfast was great (especially for business travelers), my only complaint was our toilet leaked water. Otherwise, decent hotel for business travel.

Great location for both the riverfront and Beale. Rooms fine, and staff frendly. Watch out though for un-announced parking charges ($12/day), and the very prompt closing of the breakfast kitchen at 9.00am dead.

If you have small children or allergies don't stay here. I noticed the dirt on the elevator button as we oucned it to go up. By the way, there was only one elevator working during our visit so the staff had to sit it out while the guest used the elevators which meant the rooms did not get cleaned until late. the carpet felt slimmy. The bathroom shower stall and floor tiles had black mold. The security guard was busy entertaining his ladyfriend on the security cart and talking on his cell phone to answer guest questions. I asked one question - heaven forbid, I interrupted his cell phone conversation. Anyway, This hotel is about the same as a Motel 6. It is not worth at all. It should be about a night. It would not stay here again. Go ahead and speend he extra money and stay at the Doubletree or Marriott. This place sucks. Even the cleaning staff was talking about how old and out of date the place was.

Nice room and lobby with free breakfast bar. Call the bus tour for pick up at front door for the city tour and/or Graceland.

Close to Beale Street. Limited parking. Hotel was AMAZING. I wish you didn't have to valet your car though, that's the only thing that took forever.

Hotel staff is extremely helpful, especially on site security who helped my son and I ward off panhandlers. Bfast is decent. Tram stops right in front of the hotel. Walking distance to Beale Street and downtown Memphis. Will definitely stay in this hotel again. A direct bus from Memphis Intl Airport stops right in front of the hotel, which is very convenient for travellers who travel light.

Was in a good location-could walk to Beale street, Peabody hotel, and restaurants. Room was small and smelled like smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. Bed seemed like a full, not a queen. Otherwise, pretty average room. Parking is $8/night.

Location was outstanding. Convience to trolley. Hotel staff andbreakfast bar. The hotel has a great location and excellent access to the downtown trolley loop. We checked-in Friday night and got up Saturday morning and stayed out all day. When we returned on Saturday afternoon, no one had cleaned the room. I called the front desk and asked for clean towels and was told I could come to the front desk and get them. The breakfast bar was supposed to last from 7:00 am till 10:00 am on the weekends. By 8:30 most of the stuff was gone, water pitchers were empty, no napkins. There were 5 or 6 hotel staff walking around the front desk, which was about 10 feet from the breakfast bar, but no attention to the breakfast area. They did not even offer to fill the water pitchers. When we were gathering up our stuff to checkout on Sunday we found someones old sandal under the edge of the bed. They obviously don't put much effort in room cleaning.

You would think after a night out on Bill St. one might wake up to a hammering head ache. Although I'm not a drinker and don't have to worry with such things I did wake up quickly after going to bed to a jack hammer going off. It was not in my head though it was on the 5th floor of the hotel and I was on the 4th floor. Oh yes and what a shock. I tried to find the mgr to see if we could relocate to another room but none were available. So there I was all night with hammering going on. I have stayed at this hotel once before and had a very good experience. Just be sure to check on the up grading process.

It was downtown Memphis and we were able to walk to all the locations that we had planned. We had a great Valentines day/evening! No complaints.

The check in and out staff was very friendly and helpful with questions. Our purpose for going to Memphis was to visit the venues on Biel Street. The location of this hotel was very good for that as their is a train that picks you up right out side the hotel and takes you the 5 - 6 blocks to biel street. The return trip back to the hotel was just as easy.

While the room was rather tight for space, it served the purpose (a place to sleep) just fine. My husband wanted a tape measure so he could measure the queen size bed; he swore it couldn't be the same size as our bed back home, but it was comfortable. We had a little trouble adjusting the temperature to a comfortable level; the cooling system seems a little antiquated. Overall, a good experience,no real problems that caused us distress. Very convenient to the trolley line and to the Fed Ex Forum, our destination.

Proximity to Beale St., I also enjoyed Confederate Park which is right in front of the hotel on the river. Parking was limited and cumbersome, staff needed to be more knowledgeable of their systems at checkout.

I was on my life long dream trip to see Graceland. I chose this hotel based on the reviews I had read. I wish someone like me had come forward before I booked it. The first night the hotel gave a man a key to my room, double booking him into my room and I was a woman travelling alone. No apology for the hotel. The second night there were 3 drunk men thinking my room was there. Again no apology or help from the hotel. During that second night I was biten by some sort of bed bug causing my leg to turn black and it was almost 2 weeks before the swelling and itchiness was gone. When I checked out early the front desk clerk refused to give me a final billing informing me it was not my credit card info they had but the on line site's. When I requested confirmation that I checked out early as I was going to be addressing my issues with the one line travel site they said they don't given those either and turn and walked away without providing any receipt or apology for the promblems I had had. Do yourself a favor and spend a few extra dollars and stay in a more upscale hotel. it turned my dream trip to see Graceland into a very scary experience.

The Sleep Inn at Court Square Downtown Memphis, TN, is located on the trolly system and close to Beale street, just where I needed to be. The motel is a budget type, so don't expect much more than a small clean room at an affordable price. I would stay there again and recommend, however I would look for a motel with more amenities and compare the price. I think for the location the price is fair and the motel is adequate.

They were in the middle of a remodel. Once it's complete, it will be very nice. The staff was not friendly. The breakfast was not prepared either day. Very nice, especially once remodel is complete. Good decorating. Staff less than desirable.
