While visiting my son who lives in the Mooresville area and is in the racing business, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel.

Hotel staff were nice & helpful. Parking lot was to small for my boat & very few outside electrical hook ups.

Would not honor advertised rate, never told us that the pool and hot tub were out of order. Staff was useless, front desk would not offer any discount on the over priced room rate for the out of order advertised amenities (pool & hot tub). Very disappointed. To top it off, charged my credit card when we never even checked into the hotel. We did not have a reservation, but when we called were never told that the rate would not be honored and that the pool and hot tub are out of order. Really was terrible.

During our stay the computer, treadmill and pool were all out of order. The day shift person at the front desk was not friendly and acted as though you were bothering her. When asking about the pool getting fixed, they continually gave false hopes and we ended up switching hotels because of it. Only reason we stayed was because of the pool and they were very reluctant to give a discount. We won't be staying here on our next trip.

The light switch over the sink did not work. The hotel was ok but it was hard to find unless you know the area. TheAC unit did not put out enough cold air and the switch over the sink did not work plus the pillows were way too soft.

Location was great, room cleanliness was good. The first room we checked in to had drapes falling off the window. When I asked the desk clerk if she knew about the drapes falling off the window track in 119 she replied yes, and asked me if it bothered me. I said yes and requested another room. She seemed troubled that I would request another room. We were assigned another room that was fine.

In addition to breakfast, they serve a continental dinner - convenient, smart, great touch. I prefer hotels that use sheets beneath and on top of the blankets. It was great to be able to check in, grab a plate of free dinner food, and take it to my room. A simple thing, but it felt nice to have the hotel anticipate a need of mine - dinners on the road, in restaurants or ordering to the room, are a frustration, and it was nice to have such a simple solution provided to me. The room itself had a sitting area with sofa, table, and second television. The bed, pillows, and towels were definitely budget items, but then again, so was the price.
