It was a very pleasant stay.

Excellent gym/work-out facility. Room/bathroom was not as clean as expected it would be - not that bad but not pristine. A beautiful old hotel, restored to excellent condition - room was roomy with very good desk/work area for buisness traveler - bed was very comfortable with upscale pillows & sheets; however, there was a noisy family with young kids next to me banging on walls and screaming so had to call front desk - it ceased (for most part) after front desk handled matter.

After a long drive and even longer day I was very pleased to find the room spotless and the beds super comfortable. Location was incredible and room amenities nice. . . flat screen TV, Crabtree & Evelyn bath products. Breakfast in the dining room was a bit pricey but pleasant nonetheless. Aside from some noisy talkers in the hallway that was clearly audible in the room it was a wonderful stay.

I chose the Skirvin for an anniversary get-away for me & my wife. Everything was perfect...almost. 1) We ordered room service dinner. For the entree we chose, the menu listed three side items. We got one. When I called, I was told the menu was out-of-date...that entree comes with only one side. 2) The room was stuffy for sleeping for us. When I called, I was told the room temp was regulated & could not be adjusted below 68 degrees. 3) At check-in we were told the breakfast buffet was open from 6:30-10:30, which was verified on our breakfast vouchers. We arrived for breakfast at 9:45. They closed the buffet at 10:00! These are small annoyances which should be corrected. But they do not overshadow an otherwise wonderful stay in a beautiful hotel.

We were impressed with the history of the hotel. I would have liked to see a vent in the restrooms. Loved the room. Bathrooms were excellent and very nice.

I stayed at this hotel on December 19, 2008. I traveled on business to many places in the country. Never have I encountered so much rudeness. I was trying to find the business center which is located in the basement. The stairs down to the center didn't seem right to me. So I asked the security guard that just happened to be there if that was the entrance to the bus ctr. He said yes and then asked me if I was a guest at the hotel. I said yes, he told me that was the way to the bus ctr and then asked me to accompany him to the desk. I thought he was trying to help me and come to find out he wanted to check if I was a guest at the hotel or not. At the reception desk, he asked the receptionist If he knew whether I was a guest or not. The receptionist asked me my name and I refuse to give it him and demanded to ask why I was being interrogated. When I asked the security guard why he was asking, he said, without looking at me, that he was not talking to me. The receptionist realized that this had the potential to get out of hand and told me to go ahead to the bus ctr. I asked to see the manager later and it happened that the receptionist was the manager in charge. I travel by myself to many places and I have never being treated like this. I felt this man was questioning my presence in the hotel because I was alone and a black Hispanic woman. What was he thinking?? Don't want to know but I won't stay at this hotel again.

I just returned from a short stay at the Skirvin Hotel in downtown OKC. I would definitely stay there again. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable. We ate a great meal in the Park Ave Grill located in the lobby too!

Old-time charm, gorgeous refurbishing. No spa. Very classy hotel with beautiful furnishings and extremely comfortable rooms. Front desk was friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful brunch buffet in the restaurant.

This was one of the most beautiful resored hotels I have ever stayed at. I was very impressed by the detail at every level. The staff was great, however, the front dest staff could have been more friendly and inviting. The young men at the valet were very helpful and polite. Alway ready to offer advice on what to see and where to go in Oklahoma City. The room was outstanding. Flat screen HD TV and bath area that are all updated. I would stay here again and again. The price was right!

The staff was great! The beds were too soft. I was pleasantly surprised at what a great hotel this was. The restaurant was excellent and the hotel itself was beautiful and close to everything we wanted to do. Also, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

This was a family getaway stay overnight in town. We truly enjoyed the Skirvin, it is beautiful, luxurious, and the staff is very professional and courteous. We look forward to our next stay! The price is well worth it for the comfort, and it was a very relaxing day. For being downtown, it was nice and quiet.

Elegance. I've stayed in a lot of fine hotels; The Skirvin Hilton is as good as any. Rooms were beyond comfortable. The hotel staff is superb in every area. A magnificent hotel.

***** 5 star facility. Excellent stay. Good location, close to Bricktown attractions. Friendly staff, clean, high class. Knowing the history of this hotel, made the stay there worth it. Would stay there a million times over.

Nothing. Noisy, unrestful, not romantic, not catering to patrons needs. Facilities were closed when we were most likely to use them, pool and workout rooms were closed at 10:00 pm. Shower was not acceptable with very low pressure. Breakfast was not included with the stay and was $20 per person. Rooms were not quiet and we were kept awake listening to other rooms through the venting.

Gorgeous atmosphere - staff is unsurpassed in professionalism. There is nothing. From the moment the valet greets you to the moment you leave, everything about the Skirvin is designed with you comfort and convenience in mind. Check in is a breeze, the rooms are beautifully appointed, the showers have water pressure unlike any hotel I've experienced, the Red Piano is cozy, comfortable and filled with lovely friendly people. Whether traveling alone, as a woman, or as a couple, the Hilton Skirvin is equally inviting. Highly recommend to travelers unfamiliar with OKC or residents who simply want to stay downtown and enjoy the nightlife.

"The rooms here were super. Flat screen HD TVs, great beds, lots of room, fancy bathrooms. The architecture of the hotel is beautiful."

Very nicely redone like a Grand European hotel. Thermostat in roomAC didn't work well. Very nice property. Beautifully done, bedding package is wonderful and comfortable. Public areas are beautiful. The roomAC though didn't work so well, there wasn't a way to leave it on fan. I set it on 68 degrees but it never reached anywhere close to that.

"At first sight this hotel blows you away, from its architecture to the decor. It is in the middle of downtown and has been beautifully restored throughout. Bricktown is 2blocks away and the OKC Memorial is 5blocks away. The double beds and the rooms are impeccable. The pool is small and in the basement, although the fitness room is topnotch. There are still some rough edges that need polishing, from an unfinished corner in the only dining room to the friendliness of the staff. The Concierge service was very helpful - the front desk was not helpful about amenities."

Courteous, friendly personnel, professional staff, clean, in beautiful hotel in historic downtown Oklahoma City. Downtown Oklahoma City is a great place to stay no matter the occasion. It is central to all attractions within the metropolitan area. There is now plenty to do in downtown, all within walking distance of the Skirvin; wether it's visit the Art Musuem, the Botanical gardens, Bricktown, go to an event in the Ford Arena, or a concert at the Music Hall, the newly remodeled and historic Skirvin is a great place to stay. This hotel rivals any major city hotel in the country and the service, amenities, and cleanliness are top notch. I highly recommend it. I think people will be pleasantly surprised if they've not visited Oklahoma City before, or in times past before the renaissance began.
