Room was small and the bed must have been the smallest double I have seen. There was no hot water the next morning

very noisy at night - the lifts and other internal machinery. Also the street cleaning machinery in early morning. Otherwise very nice hotel and good value.

Tuesday stayNo real problems with the hotel, yes it could do with a facelift but for what I payed (£59) it was fine and right in the centre of town. Stayed on a tuesday night, no late noise from outside, except ard when I had the window open . Room was abit hot inside (25C) not sure why as it was only 21 outside, had to oepn window. Good breakfast friendly staff, fine for a one night stay.

Value For MoneyExcellent value for money, rooms clean and bathroom well stocked. Central location made it ideal. 10 minute walk to Albert Docks, 5 minutes to Liverpool 1 and 3 minutes to Cavern quarter. Car park is a two minute walk from the hotel but staff very helpful giving directions and providing discount parking ticket. Able to drop and pick up lugga at hotel so no problems. The restaurant setting is very nice and waiter service excellent the food was well prepared and presented but there was no selection of vegitables.

BreakfastThe breakfast cereals were all out of date which was quite disappointing.

we decided to stay at this hotel despite some adverse comments. We visited the hotel on the saturday before (we live locally ) and can recommend the bar area which had very good seating arangements with good waiter service along with a very good singer. The staff are very pleasant and nothing appeared to much trouble. we stayed on the third floor this is a hotel in the heart of the city and you must expect some noise from traffic etc. the bed was large and comfortable. we did not dine at the hotel due to concert.

Credit Cards & CocktailsIf you don't have a passport or driving licence they ask you to pay up-front. Being UK-based, I didn't feel I needed to carry a passport in-country. Cocktails were very good - a mojito and a caiprihinia (?). Mixed expertly into large tumblers. £5.95 to £7.95. Peroni also very good at £3.50.

Sir Thomas Hotel ReviewThey have a system of freezing £100 on your card/account for your entire stay which only becomes available again about 24 hours after check out, which was neglected to be explained to me properly, so I was quite disappointed about not being able to spend money. The room was average, the walls were very grubby and the interior left a lot to be desired. No toilet paper / tissue was provided - I had to request it.TV is promised as free view? Only the general TV channels are provided which a poor picture for most part.Check out is at 11am and reception rang us at 11:01am to make sure we were leaving which I found very unnecessary.

Great location - room disappointingWe stayed at this hotel on Easter Sunday. The bar/restaurant downstairs looked very flash - so we were a bit disappointed when we got into the hotel. The room was very small and old fashioned - was clean though and the bed was comfy.Great location for a night out and secure parking a short walk away. The breakfast alone was worth the £44.50 we paid for the room!
